  1. P-gp (show ABCB4 ELISA Kits), Bcrp (show ABCG2 ELISA Kits) and Mrp1 (show ABCC1 ELISA Kits) are functionally expressed in bovine/rat co-culture model and model is suitable for investigations of small molecule transport.

  2. This study has, for the first time, confirmed the expression of ABCB1 in epithelial cells of the bovine rumen.

  3. Bovine blastocysts stimulated by the combined treatment with forskolin, rifampicin, and interferon-alpha to express high levels of ATP-binding cassette subfamily B member 1 displayed better freezing resistance

  4. ABCB1 is expressed in bovine oocytes and embryos.

Human ATP-Binding Cassette, Sub-Family B (MDR/TAP), Member 1 (ABCB1) interaction partners

  1. polymorphisms in ABCB1 gene may contribute to inter-individual variation in carbamazepine and in CBZ-E transport among patients with epilepsy using CBZ

  2. An upregulation of P-gp (show ABCB4 ELISA Kits) was observed when artemisone and dihydroartemisinin were co-incubated with mefloquine and amodiaquine.

  3. we found that patients carrying the CT+CC genotype of ABCB1 C3435T were more likely to have a better neurological outcome when compared with the TT genotype

  4. To investigate the relationship between ABCB1 single-nucleotide polymorphisms and the efficacy of salmeterol/fluticasone combination (SFC) inhalation therapy for stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD (show ARCN1 ELISA Kits)

  5. Data suggest that activities of human ABCB1 and mouse Abcb1a/Mdr1a (show ABCB4 ELISA Kits) are unaltered (that is, efflux of fluorescent dyes is unaltered) in chimeric forms created by exchange of homologous transmembrane/nucleotide-binding domains of ABCB1 and Abcb1a/Mdr1a (show ABCB4 ELISA Kits).

  6. nuclear MRP1 (show MDM4 ELISA Kits) is highly associated with better prognosis of human mucoepidermoid carcinoma.

  7. P-gp (show ABCB4 ELISA Kits) expression in the brain is limited at birth, increases with postnatal maturation, and reaches adult levels at ~3-6 mo of age.

  8. MDR1 was detectable in the PC cell line 22Rv1. However, this study suggests that MDR1 is of less importance for drug resistance in PC cells than in other types of solid cancer.

  9. Ser291-phosphorylated form of the multifunctional protein and stem cell marker, CD44 (show CD44 ELISA Kits), inhibits FBXO21 (show FBXO21 ELISA Kits)-directed degradation of P-gp (show ABCB4 ELISA Kits).

  10. MDR1-luciferase reporter mice provided a unique in vivo system to visualize MDR1 CNS expression and regulation.

Mouse (Murine) ATP-Binding Cassette, Sub-Family B (MDR/TAP), Member 1 (ABCB1) interaction partners

  1. These study data have facilitated understanding of the molecular mechanisms of neurotoxicosis in ABCB1-1Delta mutant mice following exposure to various P-gp (show ABCB4 ELISA Kits) substrates.

  2. Data indicate that the brain penetration of ABT-888 in both Abcb1a (show ABCB4 ELISA Kits)/1b-/- and Abcb1a (show ABCB4 ELISA Kits)/1b-/-;Abcg2 (show ABCG2 ELISA Kits)-/- mice was significantly higher than in wild-type mice.

  3. Expression of Abcb1 at the blood-brain and blood-spinal barriers is upregulated by Nrf2 (show NFE2L2 ELISA Kits).

  4. The improved structures of Pgp reveal important implications for polyspecific drug recognition in the form of a high concentration of aromatic residues in the drug translocation pathway that is most conserved among mammalian orthologs.

  5. Real-time polymerase chain reaction for ABC (show ABCB6 ELISA Kits) transporters demonstrated that Abcb1a (show ABCB4 ELISA Kits), Abcb1b (show ABCB4 ELISA Kits) and Abcg2 (show ABCG2 ELISA Kits), regarded as stem cell markers, were characteristically expressed in TtT/GF cells but not in Tpit (show TBX19 ELISA Kits)/F1 and LbetaT2 cells.

  6. In addition to ABCB1-mediated transport.

  7. In single Bcrp1 (show BANF1 ELISA Kits)(-/-) mice, brain accumulation of CYT387 was more substantially increased than in Mdr1a (show ABCB4 ELISA Kits)/1b(-/-) mice, suggesting that CYT387 is a slightly better substrate of Bcrp1 (show BANF1 ELISA Kits) than of Mdr1a (show ABCB4 ELISA Kits) at the blood-brain barrier.

  8. In Bcrp1;Mrp2;Mrp3(-/-), but not Bcrp1;Mdr1a/b;Mrp(-/-) mice.

  9. Data suggest that neither Mdr1a (show ABCB4 ELISA Kits) nor Mdr1b are involved in transepithelial transport of herbicide paraquat; brain-to-plasma partitioning ratios and total brain accumulation of paraquat were same across doses between wildtype Mdr1a (show ABCB4 ELISA Kits)/Mdr1b knockout mice.

  10. These results indicate that radixin (show RDX ELISA Kits) plays an important role in regulating P-glycoprotein localization and P-glycoprotein functional activity at the intestinal membrane.

ATP-Binding Cassette, Sub-Family B (MDR/TAP), Member 1 (ABCB1) Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

The membrane-associated protein encoded by this gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intra-cellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White). This protein is a member of the MDR/TAP subfamily. Members of the MDR/TAP subfamily are involved in multidrug resistance. The protein encoded by this gene is an ATP-dependent drug efflux pump for xenobiotic compounds with broad substrate specificity. It is responsible for decreased drug accumulation in multidrug-resistant cells and often mediates the development of resistance to anticancer drugs. This protein also functions as a transporter in the blood-brain barrier.
