  1. ABCC3 rs4148416 polymorphism was significantly associated with poor osteosarcoma response.

  2. Data suggest that hepatic expression of MRP3 is up-regulated and canalicular localization of MRP2 is altered in pediatric patients with advanced nonalcoholic steatohepatitis; these alterations may be involved in changes observed in drug metabolism.

  3. ABCC3 expression may serve as a marker for MDR and predictor for poor clinical outcome of NSCLC.

  4. A functional Nrf2 (show GABPA ELISA Kits) response element within the eighth intron of the ABCC3 gene.

  5. Renal function of MRP3 is related to renal cell proliferation and cyst formation and that restoring MRP3 may be an effective therapeutic approach for polycystic kidney disease.

  6. These results suggest that carboplatin and paclitaxel may induce drug resistance mediated by MDR1 and MRP3, which may be enhanced by the simultaneous use of both drugs.

  7. ABCC3 promoter methylation does not seem to exhibit any impact on maximum platelet aggregation and clopidogrel response at all

  8. Epidermal growth factor (show EGF ELISA Kits) - mediated epithelial-mesenchymal transition induces ABCC3 mRNA in MDA-MB-468 breast cancer cells. The process is calcium dependant.

  9. Our data suggest that besides bodyweight, OCT1 (show POU2F1 ELISA Kits) and ABCC3 genotypes play a significant role in the pharmacokinetics of intravenous morphine and its metabolites in children

  10. for ABCC3 variants, little evidence, if any, was found for an association of drug response to genetic variants

Mouse (Murine) ATP-Binding Cassette, Sub-Family C (CFTR/MRP), Member 3 (ABCC3) interaction partners

  1. data show that this transporter activity is involved in ABCC3-induced senescence, demonstrating that this protein has a complex role in cancer, since its loss of function may promote escape from OIS and tumor formation

  2. Transport of cefadroxil by ABCC3 and ABCC4 (show ABCC4 ELISA Kits) was saturable with K(m) values of 2.5 +/- 0.7 and 0.25 +/- 0.07 mM, respectively.

  3. role of the bile acid membrane transporter Mrp3 (Abcc3), which is expressed in the liver and gut (show GUSB ELISA Kits), in the hepatic growth response elicited by bile acids and in liver regeneration after partial hepatectomy

  4. Both Abcc2 (show ABCC2 ELISA Kits) and Abcc3 significantly influenced the PK properties of MTX (show MTX1 ELISA Kits).

  5. InsP(3)R2-mediated Ca(2+) signals enhance organic anion secretion into bile by targeting Mrp2 to the canalicular membrane.

  6. Data show that Abcc2 (show ABCC2 ELISA Kits), Abcc3, and Abcg2 (show ABCG2 ELISA Kits) together mediate the rapid elimination of MTX (show MTX1 ELISA Kits) and 7OH-MTX (show MTX1 ELISA Kits).

  7. These results suggest that Mrp3 plays major roles in the efflux transport of various glucuronide conjugates from the enterocytes to the portal blood in the small intestine together with unknown transporter(s)

  8. induction of Mrp3 plays a significant role in hepatocyte protection during obstructive cholestasis

  9. VDR (show CYP27B1 ELISA Kits) has a role in the protection of colon cells from bile acid toxicity through regulation of the Mrp3 expression

  10. Mrp3 does not have a major role in bile salt physiology, but is involved in the transport of glucuronidated compounds, which could include glucuronidated bile salts in humans

ABCC3 Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intra-cellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White). This protein is a member of the MRP subfamily which is involved in multi-drug resistance. The specific function of this protein has not yet been determined\; however, this protein may play a role in the transport of biliary and intestinal excretion of organic anions. Alternatively spliced variants which encode different protein isoforms have been described\; however, not all variants have been fully characterized.
