Human Polyclonal ABCB10 Primary Antibody for ELISA - ABIN409070
Graf, Haigh, Corson, Shirihai: Targeting, import, and dimerization of a mammalian mitochondrial ATP binding cassette (ABC) transporter, ABCB10 (ABC-me). in The Journal of biological chemistry 2004
Cow (Bovine) Polyclonal ABCB10 Primary Antibody for WB - ABIN610788
Mertens, Kuhn, Franke: Plakophilins 2a and 2b: constitutive proteins of dual location in the karyoplasm and the desmosomal plaque. in The Journal of cell biology 1997
ABCB10 is involved in unfolded protein response signaling pathway, although it probably does not participate in peptide export from mitochondria.
ABCB10 is required for primitive erythropoiesis and to protect from oxidative stress associated with cardiac ischemia-reperfusion in mice. Antioxidants can rescue the defects associated with ABCB10 loss-of-function in mice.
ABCB10 is not a heme exporter but is required for the early mitochondrial steps of heme biosynthesis.
Data indicate that ABCB10 may exist in an open-inwards conformation when nucleotide is bound.
Human mitochondrial ATP-binding cassette transporter (show ABCA4 Antibodies) ABCB10 is required for efficient red blood cell development.
study of ABCB10 targeting, import, and dimerization
mutations in ABCB8 (show ABCB8 Antibodies) and ABCB10 is not associated with acute myeloid leukemia (show BCL11A Antibodies).
ATP binding and hydrolysis properties of ABCB10 by using the 8-azido-ATP photolabeling technique, was characterized.
A critical role for Abcb10 in heme biosynthesis.
ABC-me deletion causes an increase in mitochondrial superoxide production and protein carbonylation in erythroid precursors.
Ferrochelatase (show FECH Antibodies) forms an oligomeric complex with Mfrn1 (show SLC25A37 Antibodies) and Abcb10 to synergistically integrate mitochondrial iron importation and use for heme biosynthesis.
Data show that the binding domain of Mfrn1 (show SLC25A37 Antibodies)-Abcb10 interaction maps to the N terminus of Mfrn1 (show SLC25A37 Antibodies).
The membrane-associated protein encoded by this gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intra-cellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White). This protein is a member of the MDR/TAP subfamily. Members of the MDR/TAP subfamily are involved in multidrug resistance. The function of this mitochondrial protein is unknown.
