Compared with the sensitive group, both mdr1 (show TBC1D9 Antibodies) mRNA and P-gp (show ABCB4 Antibodies) expressions increased in the resistant group
an SNP in ABCB1 (show ABCB1 Antibodies) (rs2032582: 2677G > T/A) was significantly associated with atorvastatin-induced liver injury (AILI) indicating that the G allele might be a risk factor for AILI in Japanese population
impact of CYP4F2 (show CYP4F2 Antibodies), ABCB1 (show ABCB1 Antibodies), and GGCX (show GGCX Antibodies) polymorphisms on bleeding episodes associated with acenocoumarol in Russian patients with atrial fibrillation
Collectively, the data establish a hitherto unknown liaison among MDR1 (show TBC1D9 Antibodies), BMI1 (show BMI1 Antibodies) and TIP60 (show KAT5 Antibodies) and provide mechanistic insights into cisplatin-induced MDR1 (show TBC1D9 Antibodies) expression resulting in acquired cross-resistance against paclitaxel, doxorubicin and likely other anticancer drugs.
High ABCB1 (show ABCB1 Antibodies) expression is associated with hepatocellular carcinoma.
Our data suggest that the C1236T and G2677A/T SNPs in the MDR1 (show TBC1D9 Antibodies) gene are associated with Crohn's disease and the C1236T risk allele with a more severe course of disease in Algerian pediatric patients.
ATPase (show DNAH8 Antibodies) measurements imply that DCV and Ho are similarly handled by ABCB1 (show ABCB1 Antibodies), whereas ABCG2 (show ABCG2 Antibodies) seems to transport DVC more effectively. In addition, we have developed an image-based high content microscopy screening method for simultaneous in situ measurement of the cellular activity and expression of the ABCG2 (show ABCG2 Antibodies) multidrug transporter
These results show that multidrug resistant leukemia cell microparticle regulation of ABCC1 (show ABCC1 Antibodies) in recipient cells is governed by the transfer of both miR (show MLXIP Antibodies)-326 and ABCB1 (show ABCB1 Antibodies) from donor cells
he modulatory effect of acacetin-doxorubicin combination on doxorubicin influx and efflux was mediated through downregulation of MDR1 (show TBC1D9 Antibodies) treansporter in non-small-cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) cells.
An additional action of osimertinib that directly inhibits the function of ABCB1 (show ABCB1 Antibodies).
Loss of ABCB1 (show ABCB1 Antibodies) expression is associated with neonatal hyperbilirubinemia.
the high-affinity site of P-glycoprotein is inaccessible because of either a conformational change or binding of detergent at the binding site in a detergent micelle environment; ligands bind to a low-affinity site, resulting in altered modulation of P-gp (show ABCB4 Antibodies) ATPase (show DNAH8 Antibodies) activity
Data suggest that ATP binding to Abcb1b/P-glycoprotein (Pgp) in liposomes exhibits cooperativity with verapamil (a cardiovascular/antiarrhythmia drug); cooperativity between verapamil and a nonhydrolyzable ATP analog (AMPPNP) leads to distinct global conformational changes in Abcb1b/Pgp.
Chrysosplenetin inhibited P-gp (show ABCB4 Antibodies) activity and reverse the up-regulated P-gp (show ABCB4 Antibodies) and MDR1 (show ABCB4 Antibodies) levels induced by artemisinin.

Pgp (show ABCB4 Antibodies)-coupled ATPase (show DNAH8 Antibodies) activity kinetics measured with a range of verapamil and digoxin concentrations fit well to a DDI model encompassing non-competitive and competitive inhibition of digoxin by verapamil.
Data show that human transgenic mutant huntingtin (show HTT Antibodies) (mHtt) aggregation might be regulated by multidrug resistance protein 1 (MDR1 (show ABCB4 Antibodies)) which suggests that MDR1 (show ABCB4 Antibodies) might be a potential therapeutic target for Huntington's disease.

These study data have facilitated understanding of the molecular mechanisms of neurotoxicosis in ABCB1 (show ABCB1 Antibodies)-1Delta mutant mice following exposure to various P-gp (show ABCB4 Antibodies) substrates.
The membrane-associated protein encoded by this gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intra-cellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White). This protein is a member of the MDR/TAP subfamily. Members of the MDR/TAP subfamily are involved in multidrug resistance. The protein encoded by this gene is an ATP-dependent drug efflux pump for xenobiotic compounds with broad substrate specificity. It is responsible for decreased drug accumulation in multidrug-resistant cells and often mediates the development of resistance to anticancer drugs. This protein also functions as a transporter in the blood-brain barrier.
