Study shows that BNC1 (show ACCN1 ELISA Kits) expression was down-regulated in hepatocellular tumors and cell lines through its promotor hypermethylation.
Study demonstrates that Bnc1 (show ACCN1 ELISA Kits) regulates epithelial plasticity of mammary epithelial cells and influences outcome of TGF-beta1 (show TGFB1 ELISA Kits) signaling.
p63 (show RPE65 ELISA Kits) induces the expression of the basal epithelial transcription factor, Basonuclin 1.
Data show that basonuclin (Bn)2 but not bn1 (show CCR6 ELISA Kits) colocalizes with SC35 (show SRSF2 ELISA Kits) in nuclear speckles, and may have a function in nuclear processing of mRNA.
HSF2BP (show HSF2BP ELISA Kits) may play a pivotal role in regulating BNC1 (show ACCN1 ELISA Kits) transcriptional activity and subcellular localization during spermatogenesis.
BNC1 (show ACCN1 ELISA Kits) is required for the maintenance of spermatogenesis.
The protein encoded by this gene is a zinc finger protein present in the basal cell layer of the epidermis and in hair follicles. It is also found in abundance in the germ cells of testis and ovary. This protein is thought to play a regulatory role in keratinocyte proliferation and it may also be a regulator for rRNA transcription. This gene seems to have multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants, but their full-length nature is not known yet. There seems to be evidence of multiple polyadenylation sites for this gene.
