Mice lacking CD70 did not accumulate memory T cells and did not develop hypertension.
find that while stimulation of CD27 (show CD27 Antibodies) in isolation drives weak Eomesodermin (show EOMES Antibodies)(hi) T-bet(lo) CD8 (show CD8A Antibodies)(+) T-cell responses to OVA immunization
Data show that although CD70 is required for the activation of the antiviral adaptive response, it has a regulatory role in early cytokine responses to viruses such as MCMV, possibly through maintenance of Treg survival and function.
the ability of CD70 to trigger costimulation is self-regulated when it binds its complementary receptor.
under conditions of constitutive CD70 expression reflecting chronic immune activation, the CD27 (show CD27 Antibodies)/CD70 system inhibits OC differentiation and favors DC differentiation
mTECs and DCs form dedicated niches in the thymic medulla, in which CD27 (show CD27 Antibodies)-CD70 co-stimulation rescues developing Treg cells from apoptosis, subsequent to Foxp3 (show FOXP3 Antibodies) induction by TCR and CD28 (show CD28 Antibodies) signals.
Expression of CD70 by B cells aggravates experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis by reducing the number of regulatory T cells.
CD70-deficient mice infected with lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus produced only half as many T8 cells. Viral clearance was substantially delayed. CD70-mediated costimulation is not required for secondary or T4 responses.
The CD27 (show CD27 Antibodies) and CD70 costimulatory pathway inhibits effector function of T helper 17 cells and attenuates associated autoimmunity.
population of CD27 (show CD27 Antibodies)(-) Th2 cells was significantly reduced by the anti-CD70 mAb treatment
These data demonstrate the important role of the CD70/CD27 (show CD27 Antibodies) axis in immune responses in HTLV-1 carriers and ATL patients.
CD70: An emerging target in cancer immunotherapy
Both monomeric and trimeric forms of CD70 were detected in tumour cell membrane fractions, whereas cytoplasmic fractions contained almost exclusively monomeric CD70
CD70 is overexpressed in systemic lupus erythematosus CD4 (show CD4 Antibodies)+ T cells, but expression is not linked to the typical clinical and serological parameters associated with the disease.
CD70-blocking of alphaDC1s from both controls and patients with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia had a negative influence on the production of both IL-12p70 and the Th1 (show TH1L Antibodies) cytokine IFN-gamma (show IFNG Antibodies).
These results highlight the importance of the CD27 (show CD27 Antibodies)-CD70 costimulation pathway for the development of CMV-specific T cell immunity during acute and persistent infection.
CD70 acts as a functional receptor binding to soluble CD27 (show CD27 Antibodies), resulting in lymphoma progression and that immunotherapy using anti-CD70 antibody may be a potential candidate for treatment for NNKTL.
These results indicate that CD27 (show CD27 Antibodies) and CD70 gene polymorphisms may affect the risk of breast cancer and show that some SNPs are associated with breast cancer characteristics in a northern Chinese population.
The mean expression of CD70 was almost twice as high in renal cell carcinoma (show MOK Antibodies) relative to normal kidney tissue
Regulation of Langerhans cell CD70 expression is important in enhancing immunity against cutaneous epithelial pathogens and cancer.
The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine that belongs to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) ligand family. This cytokine is a ligand for TNFRSF27/CD27. It is a surface antigen on activated, but not on resting, T and B lymphocytes. It induces proliferation of costimulated T cells, enhances the generation of cytolytic T cells, and contributes to T cell activation. This cytokine is also reported to play a role in regulating B-cell activation, cytotoxic function of natural killer cells, and immunoglobulin sythesis.
