More ELISA Kits for CDC14A Interaction Partners

Xenopus laevis CDC14 Cell Division Cycle 14 Homolog A (S. Cerevisiae) (CDC14A) interaction partners

  1. We demonstrate that XCdc14A upregulation prevents targeting of exocyst and SNARE (show NAPA ELISA Kits) complexes to the midbody, both essential for abscission to occur.

Mouse (Murine) CDC14 Cell Division Cycle 14 Homolog A (S. Cerevisiae) (CDC14A) interaction partners

  1. Cdc14B (show CDC14B ELISA Kits) knockout (Cdc14B (show CDC14B ELISA Kits)(-/-)) mouse embryonic fibroblasts showed defects in repairing ionizing radiation-induced DNA double-strand breaks, which occurred only at late passages when Cdc14A levels were low.

  2. CDC14A regulates oocyte maturation and functions to promote the meiosis I-to-meiosis II transition as its homolog does in budding yeast.

Human CDC14 Cell Division Cycle 14 Homolog A (S. Cerevisiae) (CDC14A) interaction partners

  1. These findings indicated that ZIPK (show DAPK3 ELISA Kits) may also be involved in the regulation of the cell cycle in human cells, by interacting with HsCdc14A.

  2. These data support the hypothesis that Cdc14A counteracts Cdk1 (show CDK1 ELISA Kits)-cyclin B1 (show CCNB1 ELISA Kits) activity through Wee1 (show WEE1 ELISA Kits) dephosphorylation.

  3. CDC (show CDK1 ELISA Kits) (cell division cycle) 14A/B phosphatases associate with KIBRA (show WWC1 ELISA Kits), and CDK1 (show CDK1 ELISA Kits)-non-phosphorylatable KIBRA (show WWC1 ELISA Kits) has greatly reduced interaction with CDC14B (show CDC14B ELISA Kits).

  4. Cdc14 phosphatase plays a role in cell cycle control in higher eukaryotes.

  5. Cdc14A phosphatase prevents premature activation of Cdk1 (show CDK1 ELISA Kits) regulating Cdc25A (show CDC25A ELISA Kits) and Cdc25B (show CDC25B ELISA Kits) at the entry into mitosis.

  6. human HCT116, and human telomerase reverse transcription-immortalized retinal pigment epithelial cells deleted for Cdc14A are DNA damage checkpoint proficient and arrest efficiently in G2 in response to irradiation.

  7. human Cdc14A phosphatase disrupts centrosome separation

  8. hCdc14A and hCdc14B have functional homology to S. pombe Cdc25 and flp1

  9. analysis of iron-responsive elements in the 3'UTR (show UTS2R ELISA Kits) of CDC14a protein

  10. hCdc14A is differentially expressed in human cancer cells and can interact with both p53 (show TP53 ELISA Kits) and the Cdk1 (show CDK1 ELISA Kits)/cyclin B complex; it may play a role in carcinogenesis

CDC14A Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the dual specificity protein tyrosine phosphatase family. It is highly similar to Saccharomyces cerevisiae Cdc14, a protein tyrosine phosphatase involved in the exit of cell mitosis and initiation of DNA replication, suggesting a role in cell cycle control. This protein has been shown to interact with, and dephosphorylate tumor suppressor protein p53, and is thought to regulate the function of p53. Alternative splicing of this gene results in several transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms.
