CDH10 encodes a type II classical cadherin from the cadherin superfamily, integral membrane proteins that mediate calcium-dependent cell-cell adhesion. Additionally we are shipping CDH10 Antibodies (46) and CDH10 Proteins (6) and many more products for this protein.

Cdh10 which is controlled by Pou3f1 (show POU3F1 ELISA Kits), is a mediator of like-like clustering of motor neuron cell bodies in the developing phrenic nerve.
This demonstration of a distinctive expression pattern of cadherin-10 suggests that it has a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of brain barriers.
Unconventional CDH10, CDH24 and DCHS2 genes harbored frameshift mutations.
The CC genotype of rs4307059 located in the region between CDH9 (show CDH9 ELISA Kits) and CDH10 is associated with completed suicide in a Polish cohort
This gene encodes a type II classical cadherin from the cadherin superfamily, integral membrane proteins that mediate calcium-dependent cell-cell adhesion. Mature cadherin proteins are composed of a large N-terminal extracellular domain, a single membrane-spanning domain, and a small, highly conserved C-terminal cytoplasmic domain. The extracellular domain consists of 5 subdomains, each containing a cadherin motif, and appears to determine the specificity of the protein's homophilic cell adhesion activity. Type II (atypical) cadherins are defined based on their lack of a HAV cell adhesion recognition sequence specific to type I cadherins. This particular cadherin is predominantly expressed in brain and is putatively involved in synaptic adhesions, axon outgrowth and guidance.
