ubiquitin-proteasomal regulation of CCRP and HSP70 (show HSP70 Antibodies) are important contributors to the regulation of cytoplasmic CAR levels, and hence the ability of CAR to respond to PB or PB-like inducers
these findings strongly suggest that DnaJC7 participates in p53 (show TP53 Antibodies)/MDM2 (show MDM2 Antibodies) negative feedback regulatory pathway, and thereby enhancing the stability and activity of p53 (show TP53 Antibodies).
TPR2 exhibited strong interaction with glucocorticoid receptor (show NR3C1 Antibodies) and progesterone receptors.
TPR2 combines two TPR domains and a J domain to regulate the Hsp70 (show HSP70 Antibodies)/Hsp90 chaperone (show HSP90 Antibodies) system.
Data show that Tpr2 associates with Hsp90 (show HSP90 Antibodies) and Hsp70 (show HSP70 Antibodies) complexes, promoted the accumulation of Hsp70 (show HSP70 Antibodies) in PR heterocomplexes in the presence of Hsp90 (show HSP90 Antibodies). Thus, Tpr2 has the potential to regulate PR chaperoning.
In CCRP knockout (KO) mice CCRP regulates CAR at multiple steps in activation of the cytochrome 2b10 gene in liver: nuclear accumulation, RNA polymerase II recruitment and epigenetic modifications.
cytoplasmic constitutive active/androstane receptor retention protein mediates the retention of PXR (show NR1I2 Antibodies) in the cytosol and modulates the activation of PXR (show NR1I2 Antibodies) in response to Pregnenolone Carbonitrile treatment
This gene encodes a member of the DNAJ heat shock protein 40 family of proteins that is characterized by two N-terminal tetratricopeptide repeat domains and a C-terminal DNAJ domain. This protein binds the chaperone proteins heat shock proteins 70 and 90 in an ATP-dependent manner and may function as a co-chaperone. Pseudogenes of this gene are found on chromosomes 1 and 6. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
