we suggest that the GSTM1 (show GSTM1 Antibodies) null genotype and GSTT1 null genotype are correlated with an increased risk of gestational diabetes mellitus in a Chinese population.
The null or present polymorphism of GSTM1 (show GSTM1 Antibodies) and GSTT1 genes and Arg/Pro of the p53 (show TP53 Antibodies) gene were analyzed.
our meta-analysis suggests there is an association between GSTM1 (show GSTM1 Antibodies) and GSTT1 polymorphisms and RCC (show XRCC1 Antibodies).
Data show a combined role of cytochrome P 450 (show CYP Antibodies) 1A1 (show SLC45A2 Antibodies) (CYP1A1 (show CYP1A1 Antibodies)), Glutathione -S -transferase M1 (GSTM1 (show GSTM1 Antibodies)) and T1 (GSTT1) polymorphisms and smoking status can be attributed for the cause of lung cancer.
There were significantly higher levels of the GSTT1 null and the ACE (show ACE Antibodies) II genotypes in ankylosing spondylitis patients compared to those in healthy controls
When considered together, GSTM1 (show GSTM1 Antibodies) and GSTT1 genotypes were found to be associated with an increased risk of breast cancer. The relationship between GSTM1 (show GSTM1 Antibodies) and GSTT1 gene deletions and breast cancer risk was substantially altered by consumption of Smoked Meat/Vegetable
results show that GSTT1 null and MDR1 (show TBC1D9 Antibodies) polymorphisms could play a role in susceptibility to inflammatory bowel disease
This meta-analysis supports that the GSTM1/GSTT1 null genotype might contribute to individual susceptibility to endometriosis in Chinese populations, especially in Chinese Han. [Meta-Analysis]
The present study suggested that GSTM1 (show GSTM1 Antibodies), GSTT1 and FTO (show FTO Antibodies) gene polymorphisms are associated with increased risk for cataract in North Indian populations.
The GSTT1 null genotype was associated with significantly increased requirement of blood transfusion
minor structural changes in the C-terminal helix of mouse GST T1-1 induce major changes in the substrate-activity profile of the enzyme to favor novel chemical reactions and to suppress other reactions catalyzed by the parental enzyme
The carcinogenic effects of DCM in the mouse are caused by the interaction with DNA of a glutathione (GSH) conjugate that is produced by the class theta glutathione S-transferase T1-1 (GST T1-1).
Gstt1-null mice would be useful as an animal model of humans with the GSTT1-null genotype.
Glutathione S-transferase (GST) theta 1 (GSTT1) is a member of a superfamily of proteins that catalyze the conjugation of reduced glutathione to a variety of electrophilic and hydrophobic compounds. Human GSTs can be divided into five main classes: alpha, mu, pi, theta, and zeta. The theta class includes GSTT1 and GSTT2. The GSTT1 and GSTT2 share 55% amino acid sequence identity and both of them were claimed to have an important role in human carcinogenesis. The GSTT1 gene is located approximately 50kb away from the GSTT2 gene. The GSTT1 and GSTT2 genes have a similar structure, being composed of five exons with identical exon/intron boundaries.
