More ELISA Kits for Golgi Reassembly Stacking Protein 1, 65kDa Interaction Partners

Human Golgi Reassembly Stacking Protein 1, 65kDa (GORASP1) interaction partners

  1. Mutagenesis experiments support these structural observations and demonstrate that they are required for GRASP65-GM130 (show GOLGA2 ELISA Kits) association.

  2. Cisternal-specific functions of GRASP65 and GRASP55 (show GORASP2 ELISA Kits) in continuity, compartmentalization, and function of the Golgi ribbon.

  3. propose that GRASP55 (show GORASP2 ELISA Kits)/65 are negative regulators of exocytic transport and that this slowdown helps to ensure more complete protein glycosylation in the Golgi stack and proper sorting at the trans-Golgi network

  4. The C-terminal fragments of GRASP65 produced following caspase (show CASP3 ELISA Kits) cleavage are targeted to mitochondria, and ectopic expression of these sensitises HeLa cells to Fas ligand (show FASL ELISA Kits).

  5. the mechanism of phosphoinhibition as direct inhibition by PLK1 (show PLK1 ELISA Kits) of the PDZ (show INADL ELISA Kits) ligand underlying the GRASP65 self-interaction.

  6. GRASP65 has a role in Golgi cisternal stacking and cell cycle progression

  7. These results demonstrate that GRASP55 (show GORASP2 ELISA Kits) and GRASP65 stack mammalian Golgi cisternae via a common mechanism.

  8. Data demonstrate that both GRASP55 (show GORASP2 ELISA Kits) and 65 are needed for the efficient transport to and through the Golgi complex, thus highlighting a novel role for the GRASPs in membrane trafficking.

  9. the GRASP domain alone of GRASP65 inhibits mitotic fragmentation of the Golgi apparatus

  10. GRASP65 may function as a signal integrator controlling the cell growth

Golgi Reassembly Stacking Protein 1, 65kDa (GORASP1) Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

The Golgi complex plays a key role in the sorting and modification of proteins exported from the endoplasmic reticulum. The protein encoded by this gene is a membrane protein involved in establishing the stacked structure of the Golgi apparatus. It is a caspase-3 substrate, and cleavage of this encoded protein contributes to Golgi fragmentation in apoptosis. This encoded protein can form a complex with the Golgi matrix protein GOLGA2, and this complex binds to the vesicle docking protein p115. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene have been identified, but their full-length natures have not been determined.
