Oga (show MGEA5 ELISA Kits)(+/-) mice resist high-fat diet-induced obesity with ameliorated hepatic steatosis and improved glucose metabolism
plays a critical role in placental vasculogenesis by modulating HIF-1alpha (show HIF1A ELISA Kits) stabilization
E2F1 (show E2F1 ELISA Kits) negatively regulates both Ogt (show OGT ELISA Kits) and Mgea5 (show MGEA5 ELISA Kits) expression in an Rb1 (show RB1 ELISA Kits) protein-dependent manner.
Conditional disruption of the O-GlcNAcase (show MGEA5 ELISA Kits) in mice leads to metabolic deregulation and semi-penetrant perinatal lethality.
This work identifies the first target of miR (show MLXIP ELISA Kits)-539 in the heart and the first miRNA that regulates OGA (show MGEA5 ELISA Kits).
The O-GlcNAcase (show MGEA5 ELISA Kits) active site resembles those of glycosidases which carry out the hydrolysis of GlcNAc linkages in a substrate-assisted acid-base manner.
HAT (show MGEA5 ELISA Kits) expression may potentially be useful as a marker for clinical grading and assessment of patient prognosis in squamous cell carcinomas
H9N2 viruses with R-S-S-R or R-S-R-R cleavage sites in hemagglutinin (show HA ELISA Kits) are activated by matriptase (show ST14 ELISA Kits) in addition to HAT (show MGEA5 ELISA Kits) and TMPRSS2 (show TMPRSS2 ELISA Kits) and, therefore, can be activated in a wide range of tissues what may affect virus spread, tissue tropism and pathogenicity.
TMPRSS2 (show TMPRSS2 ELISA Kits) and HAT (show MGEA5 ELISA Kits) are expressed by important influenza and SARS (show SARS ELISA Kits)-coronavirus target cells and could thus support viral spread in the human host.
results suggest that HAI-1 (show SPINT1 ELISA Kits) functions as a physiological regulator of HAT (show MGEA5 ELISA Kits) by inhibiting its protease activity and proteolytic activation in airway epithelium.(HAT (show MGEA5 ELISA Kits))
HAT (show MGEA5 ELISA Kits) cleaves proMSP at the physiological activation site
Human HAT (show MGEA5 ELISA Kits) cleaved severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus spike protein at R667, as determined by mutagenesis and mass spectrometry.
HAT (show MGEA5 ELISA Kits) regulates cellular functions of human bronchial epithelial cells via activation of protease-activated receptor-2 (show F2RL1 ELISA Kits).
HAT (show MGEA5 ELISA Kits) might promote PAR-2 (show F2RL1 ELISA Kits)-mediated IL-8 (show IL8 ELISA Kits) production to accumulate inflammatory cells in the epidermal layer of psoriasis.
results indicate that HAT (show MGEA5 ELISA Kits) stimulates fibroblast proliferation in bronchial airways through a PAR-2 (show F2RL1 ELISA Kits)-dependent MEK (show MAP2K1 ELISA Kits)-MAPK (show MAPK1 ELISA Kits) mediated pathway and that HAT (show MGEA5 ELISA Kits) is linked to airway processes involving fibroblasts
HAT (show MGEA5 ELISA Kits) induces amphiregulin (show AREG ELISA Kits) production through the PAR-2 (show F2RL1 ELISA Kits) mediated ERK (show EPHB2 ELISA Kits) pathway, and then causes amphiregulin (show AREG ELISA Kits) release by a TACE (show ADAM17 ELISA Kits)-dependent mechanism
This gene encodes a trypsin-like serine protease released from the submucosal serous glands onto mucous membrane. It is a type II integral membrane protein and has 29-38% identity in the sequence of the catalytic region with human hepsin, enteropeptidase, acrosin, and mast cell tryptase. The noncatalytic region has little similarity to other known proteins. This protein may play some biological role in the host defense system on the mucous membrane independently of or in cooperation with other substances in airway mucous or bronchial secretions.
