downregulation of these genes through the p53 (show TP53 Antibodies)-p21 (show CDKN1A Antibodies)-DREAM-CDE/CHR pathway appears to be a principal mechanism for G2/M cell cycle arrest by p53 (show TP53 Antibodies).
Our results support the hypothesis that KChIPs enhances Kv4.2 (show KCND2 Antibodies) functional expression by a 1 : 1 suppression of the N-terminal FERN domain and by producing additional positive regulatory effects on functional channel expression.
GCM1 (show GCM1 Antibodies)-directed villous trophoblast differentiation is repressed by DREAM
p53 (show TP53 Antibodies) can repress transcription of cell cycle genes through a p21(WAF1/CIP1 (show CDKN1A Antibodies))-dependent switch from MMB to DREAM protein complex binding at CHR promoter elements.
The potassium channel interacting protein 3 (DREAM/KChIP3) heterodimerizes with and regulates calmodulin (show CALM1 Antibodies) function.
expression of calsenilin leads to a disruption of presenilin 1 (show PSEN1 Antibodies)/gamma-secretase-mediated epsilon-cleavage of N-cadherin (show CDH2 Antibodies), which results in the significant accumulation of N-cadherin (show CDH2 Antibodies) C-terminal fragment 1
The results show that continued human papillomavirus 16 E6/E7 expression is necessary in cervical cancer cells to prevent cell-cycle arrest by a repressive p130 (show RBL2 Antibodies)-DREAM complex.
These findings suggest that calsenilin degradation is primarily mediated by the UPP (show UPP1 Antibodies) and that impairment in the UPP (show UPP1 Antibodies) may contribute to the involvement of calsenilin in disease-associated neurodegeneration.
apoptosis inducers as diverse as oncoprotein inhibitors and cell death receptor activators trigger Hrk (show HRK Antibodies) expression via blockade of DREAM in leukemia cells
Immunoreactivity of calsenilin in the hippocampus derived from an epile (show CA3 Antibodies)psy patient is significantly decreased compared with normal brain.
The association of calcium-bound calmodulin (CaM (show Calm2 Antibodies)) with DREAM is mediated by a short amphipathic amino acid sequence located between residues 29 and 44 on DREAM.

NS5806 directly interacts with KChIP3 and modulates the interactions between this calcium-binding protein (show GUCA1B Antibodies) and the T1 domain of the Kv4.3 (show KCND3 Antibodies) channels through reorientation of helix 10 on KChIP3
studies define the critical opposing functions of DREAM and USF1 (show USF1 Antibodies) in inhibiting and inducing A20 (show TNFAIP3 Antibodies) expression
Expression of DREAM in neuroblastoma (show ARHGEF16 Antibodies) cells enhances cisplatin mediated caspase-3 (show CASP3 Antibodies) activity.
Restoring CANT1 (show CANT1 Antibodies) levels in neuroblastoma (show ARHGEF16 Antibodies) clones recovered the phenotype, thus confirming a key role of CANT1 (show CANT1 Antibodies), and of the regulation of its gene by DREAM, in the control of protein synthesis and degradation
In cardiomyocytes, [Ca2 (show CA2 Antibodies)+]i-activated calmodulin kinase II (CaMKII (show CAMK2 Antibodies)) activates downstreamregulatory element (DRE (show SUFUH Antibodies)) binding transcription factor DREAM, which consequently suppresses the expression of L-type calcium channel 1C-subunit gene (Cacna1c (show CACNA1C Antibodies)).

zebrafish calsenilin is involved in endocrine cell differentiation and morphogenesis within the pancreas
This gene encodes a member of the family of voltage-gated potassium (Kv) channel-interacting proteins, which belong to the recoverin branch of the EF-hand superfamily. Members of this family are small calcium binding proteins containing EF-hand-like domains. They are integral subunit components of native Kv4 channel complexes that may regulate A-type currents, and hence neuronal excitability, in response to changes in intracellular calcium. The encoded protein also functions as a calcium-regulated transcriptional repressor, and interacts with presenilins. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described.
