MAGEA3 (show MAGEA3 Antibodies)/6 positivity was associated with significantly better disease-free survival.
Study describes a widespread mechanism to suppress AMPK (show PRKAA1 Antibodies) through its ubiquitination and degradation by the cancer-specific MAGE-A3 (show MAGEA3 Antibodies)/6-TRIM28 (show TRIM28 Antibodies) ubiquitin ligase. MAGE-A3 (show MAGEA3 Antibodies) and MAGE-A6 are highly similar proteins normally expressed only in the male germline but frequently re-activated in human cancers.
To identify novel CTL epitopes from MAGE-A6 and MAGE (show MAGEB10 Antibodies)-A12 (show UGT1A9 Antibodies) antigens.
Report MAGEA1 (show MAGEA1 Antibodies)-A6 expression in sputum suggests presence of lung cancer cells or precancerous cells.
Disease-associated bias in T helper type 1 (Th1 (show TH1L Antibodies))/Th2 CD4 (show CD4 Antibodies)(+) T cell responses against MAGE-6 in HLA-DRB10401(+) patients with renal cell carcinoma (show MOK Antibodies) or melanoma.
MAGE-6 encodes HLA-DRbeta1*0401-presented epitopes recognized by CD4 (show CD4 Antibodies)+ T cells from patients with melanoma or renal cell carcinoma (show MOK Antibodies)
Multiple simultaneous detection of MAGE (show MAGEB10 Antibodies)-A [subtypes] more specific and sensitive than detection of single MAGE (show MAGEB10 Antibodies)-A antigen for the diagnostic and prognostic evaluation of oral squamous cell carcinoma
This gene is a member of the MAGEA gene family. The members of this family encode proteins with 50 to 80% sequence identity to each other. The promoters and first exons of the MAGEA genes show considerable variability, suggesting that the existence of this gene family enables the same function to be expressed under different transcriptional controls. The MAGEA genes are clustered at chromosomal location Xq28. They have been implicated in some hereditary disorders, such as dyskeratosis congenita. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified for this gene.
