The protein encoded by MAPK8IP3 shares similarity with the product of Drosophila syd gene, required for the functional interaction of kinesin I with axonal cargo. Additionally we are shipping and many more products for this protein.

Kelkar, Gupta, Dickens, Davis: Interaction of a mitogen-activated protein kinase signaling module with the neuronal protein JIP3. in Molecular and cellular biology 2000
our data provide strong evidence that Jip3 in fact serves as an adapter protein linking these cargos to dynein
Results demonstrated the increased expression of JIP3 in the temporal neocortex of TLE patients and in the experimental model of epileptic seizures
JSAP1 and JLP (show SPAG9 Antibodies) play critical roles in kinesin-1-dependent axonal transport
The results of this study finding suggested that a model by which the self-assembly of SYD-2/Liprin (show PPFIA1 Antibodies)-alpha proteins mediated by the coiled-coil LH1 domain is one of the key steps to the accumulation of presynaptic components at nascent synaptic junctions
This study demonistrated that JIP3 mediates TrkB (show NTRK2 Antibodies) axonal anterograde transport and enhances BDNF (show BDNF Antibodies) signaling by directly bridging TrkB (show NTRK2 Antibodies) with kinesin-1.
Expression of constitutively active PI3K (show PIK3CA Antibodies) stimulated translocation of Tiam1 (show TIAM1 Antibodies) to the membrane, increased Rac1 activity, and increased wound healing of airway epithelial cells. Increased Rac1 activity resulted in increased phosphorylation of JNK1 (show MAPK8 Antibodies).
demonstration that JSAP1 bound ASK1 (show MAP3K5 Antibodies) and enhanced ASK1 (show MAP3K5 Antibodies)- and H2O2-induced JNK (show MAPK8 Antibodies) activity
Pressure application of 160 mmHg for 3 h produced cell proliferation and activated ERK (show EPHB2 Antibodies) and c-JUN N-terminal kinase
JIP1 (show MAPK8IP1 Antibodies) and JIP3, have a cross-talk that leads to the regulation of the ASK1 (show MAP3K5 Antibodies)-SEK1 (show MAP2K4 Antibodies)-JNK (show MAPK8 Antibodies) signal during glucose deprivation; cross-talk between JIP3 and JIP1 (show MAPK8IP1 Antibodies) is mediated through SEK1 (show MAP2K4 Antibodies)-JNK2 (show MAPK9 Antibodies) and Akt1 (show AKT1 Antibodies).
JSAP1.FAK (show PTK2 Antibodies) complex functions cooperatively as a scaffold for the JNK (show MAPK8 Antibodies) signaling pathway and regulator of cell migration on FN
Upon UVB-induced stress in keratinocytes, ROCK1 (show ROCK1 Antibodies) was activated, bound to JIP-3, and activated the JNK (show MAPK8 Antibodies) pathway
JSAP1/JIP3 and JLP (show SPAG9 Antibodies) regulate kinesin-1-dependent axonal transport to prevent neuronal degeneration
These findings reveal that JIP3 regulation of kinesin-1 motility is critical for axon elongation and regeneration.
JSAP1 and JLP (show SPAG9 Antibodies), which might be paralogous to each other, are critical and functionally redundant in cytokinesis and control ARF6 (show ARF6 Antibodies) localization to the midbody by forming a tripartite complex of JSAP1/JLP (show SPAG9 Antibodies), active ARF6 (show ARF6 Antibodies), and kinesin-1.
JIP3 regulates neuronal axon elongation in a kinesin- and JNK (show MAPK8 Antibodies)-dependent manner
Results suggest that JSAP1 is required for the pathfinding of the developing telencephalic commissures in the early brains.
syd activates kinesin heavy chain for transport & enhances its motility, increasing its velocity & run length. syd mutants binding KHC but not kinesin light chain are transported to axons & dendrites normally.
The results provide evidence that ARF6 (show ARF6 Antibodies)/JIP3 signaling regulates neurite morphogenesis.
Results suggest that endocytic sunday driver (syd (show SDC1 Antibodies)) vesicles function in part to carry injury signals back to the cell body, whereas anterograde syd (show SDC1 Antibodies) vesicles may play a role in axonal outgrowth and guidance.
Jip3 gene disruption causes severe defects in the morphogenesis of the telencephalon.
The protein encoded by this gene shares similarity with the product of Drosophila syd gene, required for the functional interaction of kinesin I with axonal cargo. Studies of the similar gene in mouse suggested that this protein may interact with, and regulate the activity of numerous protein kinases of the JNK signaling pathway, and thus function as a scaffold protein in neuronal cells. The C. elegans counterpart of this gene is found to regulate synaptic vesicle transport possibly by integrating JNK signaling and kinesin-1 transport. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene have been described, but the full-length nature of some of these variants has not been determined.
