More Proteins for Musculin (MSC) Interaction Partners

Human Musculin (MSC) interaction partners

  1. results demonstrate that ABF-1 facilitates formation of memory B cells but prevents plasma cell differentiation.

  2. role in repressing lymphotoxin alpha

  3. ABF-1 is frequently silenced by promoter methylation in follicular lymphoma, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and Burkitt's lymphoma.

Mouse (Murine) Musculin (MSC) interaction partners

  1. MyoR modulates cardiac conduction by repressing Gata4 (show GATA4 Proteins).

  2. MyoR is a transcription factor selectively up-regulated in CD4 (show CD4 Proteins) T cells during Tfh cell differentiation

  3. results demonstrate that ABF-1 facilitates formation of memory B cells but prevents plasma cell differentiation.

  4. Basic helix-loop-helix transcriptional factor MyoR regulates BMP-7 (show BMP7 Proteins) in acute kidney injury.

  5. Data show that correct levels of expression of Myf5 (show MYF5 Proteins) and MyoD (show MYOD1 Proteins) during mouse craniofacial development result from activation by musculin and TCF21 (show TCF21 Proteins) through direct binding to specific enhancers.

  6. a feed-forward loop where MyoD (show MYOD1 Proteins) indirectly down-regulates MyoR via miR (show MLXIP Proteins)-378

  7. findings identify MyoR and capsulin (show TCF21 Proteins) as unique transcription factors for the development of specific head muscles

  8. MyoR may serve as a repressor of embryonal endoderm differentiation.

  9. Our results suggest that musculin/MyoR may play important roles not only in developmental processes but also in regenerative processes in adult tissue.

  10. Induction of Musculin is responsible for the rapid down-regulation of MyoD (show MYOD1 Proteins) at 4-5 days during staged regeneration.

Musculin (MSC) Protein Profile

Protein Summary

The protein encoded by this gene is a transcriptional repressor capable of binding an E-box element either as a homodimer or as a heterodimer with E2A in vitro. The encoded protein also forms heterodimers with E2A proteins in vivo. This protein is capable of inhibiting the transactivation capability of E47, an E2A protein, in mammalian cells. This gene is a downstream target of the B-cell receptor signal transduction pathway.
