Neurobeachin (NBEA) ELISA Kits

NBEA encodes a member of a large, diverse group of A-kinase anchor proteins that target the activity of protein kinase A to specific subcellular sites by binding to its type II regulatory subunits. Additionally we are shipping Neurobeachin Antibodies (33) and and many more products for this protein.

More ELISA Kits for Neurobeachin Interaction Partners

Fruit Fly (Drosophila melanogaster) Neurobeachin (NBEA) interaction partners

  1. This study demonistrated that functional homologies between Drosophila Rugose and mammalian NBEA that will help clarify the role of BEACH proteins in the development and function of the CNS in vivo.

  2. Drosophila spoonbill encodes a dual-specificity A-kinase anchor protein (show CELSR3 ELISA Kits) essential for oogenesis.

  3. results suggest that rg is required for correct retinal pattern formation and may function in cell fate determination through its interactions with the EGFR (show EGFR ELISA Kits) and Notch (show NOTCH1 ELISA Kits) signaling pathways

  4. results suggest that rugose gene encodes a secondary pigment cell specific function, and plays an essential role in determining the optic lobe's structure

  5. Rugose (rg) plays an important role in the integration of different signals required for the exact regulation of cone cell development and survival.

Human Neurobeachin (NBEA) interaction partners

  1. Data indicate that the PVT1-NBEA and the PVT1-WWOX (show WWOX ELISA Kits) chimeric genes were associated with the expression of abnormal NBEA and WWOX (show WWOX ELISA Kits).

  2. Synapse associated protein 102 (SAP102 (show DLG3 ELISA Kits)) binds the C-terminal part of the scaffolding protein neurobeachin.

  3. data obtained in mice and humans suggest that variation of Nbea abundance or activity critically affects body weight, presumably by influencing the activity of feeding-related neural circuits

  4. neurobeachin encoding gene is disrupted in a patient with a de novo translocation t(5;13) (q12.1;q13.2), idiopathic autism, and no family history of autism

  5. The NBEA gene at 13q13, and its expression are frequently disrupted in MM.

Mouse (Murine) Neurobeachin (NBEA) interaction partners

  1. The physical interaction of NBEA with NOTCH1 (show NOTCH1 ELISA Kits) is most relevant for autism spectrum disorders pathogenesis because NOTCH (show NOTCH1 ELISA Kits) signaling is essential for neural development.

  2. These findings indicate that Nbea haploinsufficiency leads to various molecular and cellular changes that affect neuroplasticity and behavioral functions in mice

  3. Nbea regulates synaptic transmission under basal conditions by targeting neurotransmitter receptors to synapses.

  4. Synapse associated protein 102 (SAP102 (show DLG3 ELISA Kits)) binds the C-terminal part of the scaffolding protein neurobeachin.

  5. data obtained in mice and humans suggest that variation of Nbea abundance or activity critically affects body weight, presumably by influencing the activity of feeding-related neural circuits

  6. Data show that deletion of Nbea leads to reduced numbers of spinous synapses in cultured neurons from complete knockouts and in cortical tissue from heterozygous mice, accompanied by altered miniature postsynaptic currents.

  7. Nbea-null mice suffered block of evoked synaptic transmission at neuromuscular junctions, whereas nerve conduction, synaptic structure and synaptic vesicle release were normal supporting a neurotransmitter release role of Nbea at neuromuscular junctions

  8. Our data demonstrate for the first time a function of Nbea at central synapses that may be based on its presumed role in targeting membrane proteins to synaptic contacts.

Neurobeachin (NBEA) Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

This gene encodes a member of a large, diverse group of A-kinase anchor proteins that target the activity of protein kinase A to specific subcellular sites by binding to its type II regulatory subunits. Brain-specific expression and coat protein-like membrane recruitment of a highly similar protein in mouse suggest an involvement in neuronal post-Golgi membrane traffic. Mutations in this gene may be associated with a form of autism. This gene and its expression are frequently disrupted in patients with multiple myeloma. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms. Additional transcript variants may exist, but their full-length nature has not been determined.
