NCAPH encodes a member of the barr gene family and a regulatory subunit of the condensin complex. Additionally we are shipping Non-SMC Condensin I Complex, Subunit H Antibodies (102) and Non-SMC Condensin I Complex, Subunit H Proteins (4) and many more products for this protein.
Loss of the interaction partners CAP-H and CAP-D2 causes cytoplasmic mislocalization of CAP-G throughout mitosis.
NCAPH high expression promotes colonic cancerous cell proliferation.
Caspase-3 (show CASP3 ELISA Kits)-mediated degradation of condensin Cap-H regulates mitotic cell death.
Our results identify a SSB-specific response of condensin I through PARP-1 and demonstrate a role for condensin in SSB. repair.
This gene encodes a member of the barr gene family and a regulatory subunit of the condensin complex. This complex is required for the conversion of interphase chromatin into condensed chromosomes. The protein encoded by this gene is associated with mitotic chromosomes, except during the early phase of chromosome condensation. During interphase, the protein has a distinct punctate nucleolar localization.
