The protein encoded by this intronless gene is a member of the nucleosome assembly protein (NAP) family. Additionally we are shipping NAP1L2 Antibodies (45) and NAP1L2 Proteins (5) and many more products for this protein.
Results identified several proteins interacting with NAP1L2, including the ubiquitously expressed members of the nucleosome assembly protein family, NAP1L1 (show NAP1L1 ELISA Kits) and NAP1L4 (show NAP1L4 ELISA Kits).
Data show that Nap1l2 associates with chromatin and interacts with histones H3 and H4, and loss of Nap1l2 results in decreased histone acetylation activity, leading to transcriptional changes in differentiating neurons.
The protein encoded by this intronless gene is a member of the nucleosome assembly protein (NAP) family. The encoded protein represents a class of tissue-specific factors that interact with chromatin to regulate neuronal cell proliferation.
