Mechanosensitive PPAP2B plays a critical role in promoting anti-inflammatory phenotype and maintaining vascular integrity of endothelial monolayer under atheroprotective flow.
study concludes polymorphisms of TGM5 (show TGM5 Antibodies), PPAP2B and PSMA4 (show PSMA4 Antibodies) are not major contributors tonon-small cell lung cancer susceptibility in never-smoking hinese population, this primarily can be attributed to the significantly distinct genetic background of Asian populations from western populations
PPAP2B gene rearrangement is associated with lipomas.
expression of LPP3 in human colon tumor (SW480) cells potentiated tumor growth via increased beta-catenin (show CTNNB1 Antibodies) stability and CYCLIN-D1 (show CCND1 Antibodies) synthesis
Results identify a key role for LPP3 in orchestrating PTEN (show PTEN Antibodies)-mediated beta-catenin (show CTNNB1 Antibodies)/LEF-1 (show LEF1 Antibodies) signaling in EC migration, cell-cell adhesion, and formation of branching point structures.
there are marked differences in biochemical activity between fly Wun (show PPAP2A Antibodies) and mammalian lipid phosphate phosphatase (LPPs), with Wun (show PPAP2A Antibodies) having a narrower activity range than has been reported for the mammalian LPPs
LPP1 (show PPAP2A Antibodies) and LPP3 are distributed in distinct lipid rafts that may provide unique microenvironments defining their non-redundant physiological functions.
LPP3 acted as an ecto (show TRIM33 Antibodies)-phosphatase on FTY720-P.
endogenous LPP2 (show PPAP2C Antibodies) and LPP3 form homo- and hetero-oligomers, which differ in their subcellular localization and which may confer differing spatial regulation of phosphatidic acid and sphingosine 1-phosphate signalling
Demonstrate essential roles of LPP3 in the maturation of endothelial cell barrier integrity and normal cardiovascular development.
Results identify a role for the autotaxin (show ENPP2 Antibodies)/LPA-signaling nexus as a mediator of endothelial permeability in inflammation and demonstrate that LPP3 limits these effects.
LPP3 serves as an intrinsic negative regulator of smooth muscle cell phenotypic modulation and inflammation after vascular injury, in part, by regulating lysophospholipid signaling.
Our data show that LPP3 plays a fundamental role during spinal neuron differentiation from embryonic stem cells and that it also participates in regulating neurite and axon outgrowth.
generation and destruction are tightly regulated and LPP3 is essential to establish the balance
Altogether our data indicate that LPP3 participates in several aspects of neuron-glia communication required for proper cerebellum development.
Data show that mouse embryos deficient for lipid phosphate phosphatase 3 fail to form a chorio-allantoic placenta and yolk sac (show ADCY10 Antibodies) vasculature.
provide a mechanism for the function of LPP3 in cell-cell interactions in both human and mouse
Lpp3 expression may play a key role in modulating/integrating multiple signaling pathways during development
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the phosphatidic acid phosphatase (PAP) family. PAPs convert phosphatidic acid to diacylglycerol, and function in de novo synthesis of glycerolipids as well as in receptor-activated signal transduction mediated by phospholipase D. This protein is a membrane glycoprotein localized at the cell plasma membrane. It has been shown to actively hydrolyze extracellular lysophosphatidic acid and short-chain phosphatidic acid. The expression of this gene is found to be enhanced by epidermal growth factor in Hela cells.
