More ELISA Kits for Pirin Interaction Partners

Mouse (Murine) Pirin (PIR) interaction partners

  1. Sod1(-/-) mice have a significantly elevated level of Pir mRNA in the spleen and kidney but not in the liver, heart, or/and brain.

Arabidopsis thaliana Pirin (PIR) interaction partners

  1. PRN1 may play a critical role in cellular quercetin levels and influence light- or hormonal-directed early development.

  2. Arabidopsis mutants of the PRN1 gene, which is involved in abiotic and biotic signaling affecting phenylalanine-derived flavonoids, showed altered susceptibility to cryptoccocal infections, suggesting roles for this pathway in cryptococcal defense.

Human Pirin (PIR) interaction partners

  1. Pirin regulates E-cadherin (show CDH1 ELISA Kits) independently of Bcl3 (show BCL3 ELISA Kits)-Slug (show SNAI2 ELISA Kits) signaling.

  2. The NRF2 transcription factor binds to this element in vivo and drives the basal PIR expression.

  3. Pirin is a newly identified binding partner of EAF2/U19 (show EAF2 ELISA Kits) capable of down-regulating EAF2/U19 (show EAF2 ELISA Kits) protein and alleviating its inhibition of prostate cancer cell survival/proliferation.

  4. Data indicate that the R-shaped area composes the interface for pirin-NF-kappaB (show NFKB1 ELISA Kits) binding that is responsible for modulation of NF-kappaB's DNA-binding properties.

  5. pirin may have a relevant role in melanoma progression.

  6. knockdown of pirin or treatment with the small molecule inhibited melanoma cell migration

  7. This study aimed to examine genetic variations in the PIR gene by a comprehensive tagging method and its sex-specific effects on bone mineral density and osteoporotic risk.

  8. An abnormal pattern of PIR sub-cellular localization is a characteristic feature of a subset of melanomas, and suggest it may represent a marker associated with disease progression.

  9. Pirin downregulation is a feature of acute myeloid leukemia (show BCL11A ELISA Kits) and leads to impairment of terminal myeloid differentiation.

  10. x-ray crystallography of of human pirin shows that it is an iron-binding nuclear protein and transcription cofactor

Pirin (PIR) Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

This gene encodes a member of the cupin superfamily. The encoded protein is an Fe(II)-containing nuclear protein expressed in all tissues of the body and concentrated within dot-like subnuclear structures. Interactions with nuclear factor I/CCAAT box transcription factor as well as B cell lymphoma 3-encoded oncoprotein suggest the encoded protein may act as a transcriptional cofactor and be involved in the regulation of DNA transcription and replication. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described.
