Pre-B cell receptor (BCR (show BCR Antibodies)) signals establish the molecular network for BCR (show BCR Antibodies) signaling even before the production of an IgL Chain and induce the expression of KLF2 (show KLF2 Antibodies), a candidate for controlling clonal expansion and migration of functional pre-B cells.
levels of VPREB3 mRNA in aldosterone-producing adenomas directly correlate to plasma aldosterone concentrations in peripheral blood of respective patients
mouse VpreB3 associates with mu heavy chains early in pre-B cell receptor biosynthesis
VpreB3 may play a role in the regulation of the maturation and secretion of free IgLC in chicken B cells
the combined immunohistochemical detection of VPREB3 and ID3 (show ID3 Antibodies) is applicable to the routine diagnostic in case of mature aggressive B-cell lymphomas.
Data show that the absence of VpreB3 is virtually always associated with wild-type c-MYC (show MYC Antibodies) alleles.
the present study confirms the co-existence of surrogate lambda and kappa receptors that are proposed to work in concert to promote B lymphocyte (show AKAP17A Antibodies) maturation.
The protein encoded by this gene is the human homolog of the mouse VpreB3 (8HS20) protein, and is specifically expressed in cell lines representative of all stages of B-cell differentiation. It is also related to VPREB1 and other members of the immunoglobulin supergene family. This protein associates with membrane mu heavy chains early in the course of pre-B cell receptor biosynthesis. The precise function of the protein is not known, but it may contribute to mu chain transport in pre-B cells.
