This is the first report that demonstrates Ppbp as a novel biomarker in the bronchial airway for lung cancer diagnosis.
Platelet-derived CXCL7 and CXCL4 (show PF4 Proteins) contribute to the pathogenesis of acute lung injury.
The findings suggest that CXCL7 attracts macrophages especially at the tumor site and may accelerate lung tumor development in the early stages.
These results suggest that Cxcl4 (show PF4 Proteins) and Cxcl7 play a role in the development of neurobehavioral alterations that are triggered by in utero TCDD exposure and later surface in adults.
These results suggest that aberrant CXCL7 expression in peripheral blood cells is induced by renal cell carcinoma (show MOK Proteins) cells and may serve as a novel biomarker in the diagnosis of renal cell carcinoma (show MOK Proteins) .
Two haplotype blocks, one upstream to the coding region of UGT2A1 (rs146712414, P = 9.1 x 10(-5); odds ratio [OR], 1.34; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.16-1.56) and one downstream of the genes PF4/PPBP/CXCL5 (rs1595009, P = 1.3 x 10(-4); OR, 1.32; 95% CI, 1.15-1.52), were associated with AgP.
Cby's C-terminal domain alone binds to TC-1 with significantly greater affinity compared to full-length Cby (show CBY1 Proteins), implying that target binding of the coiled-coil domain is affected by the flanking disordered regions.
CXCL7 plays a promoting role in regulating the growth and metastasis of cholangiocarcinoma.
Data suggest that neutrophil-activating peptide 2 (NAP-2) secreted by NK cells can bind to CXC Chemokine Receptor (show CXCR4 Proteins) 2 (CXCR2 (show CXCR2 Proteins)) on mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) leading to stimulation of its recruitment.
Utilizing mass spectrometry-based proteomics, platelet basic protein has been identified as a candidate serum biomarker for transient ischemic attack
Synovial Cxcl7 mRNA and protein were increased in early rheumatoid arthritis compared to uninflamed controls and resolving arthritis.
Studied and characterized the dynamics and thermodynamic stability of monomer and homodimer structures of CXCL7.
Leptin (show LEP Proteins) and neutrophil-activating peptide act synergistically to promote mesenchymal stem cell senescence through enhancement of the PI3K (show PIK3CA Proteins)/Akt (show AKT1 Proteins) signaling pathway in systemic lupus erythematosus patients.
CXCL7/CXCR2 (show CXCR2 Proteins) signalling pathways are a predictive factor of poor outcome in metastatic colon cancer.
The protein encoded by this gene is a platelet-derived growth factor that belongs to the CXC chemokine family. This growth factor is a potent chemoattractant and activator of neutrophils. It has been shown to stimulate various cellular processes including DNA synthesis, mitosis, glycolysis, intracellular cAMP accumulation, prostaglandin E2 secretion, and synthesis of hyaluronic acid and sulfated glycosaminoglycan. It also stimulates the formation and secretion of plasminogen activator by synovial cells.
