More ELISA Kits for PTPRN Interaction Partners

Human Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase, Receptor Type, N (PTPRN) interaction partners

  1. Identification of amino acids contributing to distinct epitopes on IA-2, with both HLA-DR and HLA-DQ alleles influencing epitope specificity.

  2. RESP18HD is required for efficient sorting of ICA512 to secretory granules: RESP18HD is a key determinant for ICA512 granule targeting.

  3. The binding of CREB (show CREB1 ELISA Kits) to the promoter region, -216 to +115, enhanced IA-2 transcription by more than fivefold.

  4. Kaplan-Meier survival curves estimated a worst pancreas graft survival for patients with positive IA-2 antibodies versus those patients with negative auto-antibodies and GAD65 (show GAD2 ELISA Kits)+ auto-antibodies after simultaneous pancreas kidney transplantation.

  5. Humoral responses to islet antigen-2 and zinc transporter 8 are attenuated in patients carrying HLA-A*24 alleles at the onset of type 1 diabetes.

  6. Letter: report lack of anti-IA2 autoantibodies in primary antiphospholipid syndrome.

  7. analysis of protein-protein interactions in crystals of the human receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase (show ACP1 ELISA Kits) ICA512 ectodomain

  8. In families with type 1 diabetes, there was a female predominance and more family history of associated autoimmune diseases (AAIDs) in the group with AAIDs, and less frequent anti-IA-2 antibodies

  9. Longer survival was associated with hypomethylation at specific CpG sites (e.g. GREB1, TGIF (show IL10 ELISA Kits) and TOB1) and hypermethylation in other genes (e.g. TMCO5, PTPRN and GUCY2C (show GUCY2C ELISA Kits)).

  10. Studies indicate that T1DM can be detected by determining four autoantibodies, namely those antibodies against insulin (show INS ELISA Kits), glutamic acid decarboxylase 65 (show GAD2 ELISA Kits), insulinoma (show RPS15 ELISA Kits) antigen (IA)-2 (ICA512) and the zinc transporter ZnT8 (show SLC30A8 ELISA Kits).

Mouse (Murine) Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase, Receptor Type, N (PTPRN) interaction partners

  1. Ptprn is an activity dependent gene in mouse olfactory sensory neurons. [Ptprn]

  2. Data show that miRNAs are involved in regulating the expression of the major type 1 diabetes (T1D) autoantigens IA-2, IA-2beta (show PTPRN2 ELISA Kits), and GAD65 (show GAD2 ELISA Kits) enzyme.

  3. Experiments showed that the knock-out of IA-2, but not IA-2beta (show PTPRN2 ELISA Kits), resulted in marked impairment of active avoidance learning; one copy of the gene was sufficient to maintain active avoidance learning

  4. Data show that the insulinoma associated protein-2 distribution in peripheral neurons appeared more intensely in neurites rather than in the cell bodies.

  5. IA-2-/- mice had higher sensitivity to STZ, suggesting a role of IA-2 not only in the secretion but also in the production of insulin (show INS ELISA Kits).

  6. IA-2 is involved in glucose-stimulated insulin (show INS ELISA Kits) secretion

  7. experiments show that the dense core vesicle proteins IA-2 and IA-2beta (show PTPRN2 ELISA Kits), alone or in combination, are involved in insulin (show INS ELISA Kits) secretion, but neither alone nor in combination are they required for the development of diabetes in NOD mice

  8. IA-2beta (show PTPRN2 ELISA Kits), but not IA-2, is induced by ghrelin (show GHRL ELISA Kits) and inhibits glucose-stimulated insulin (show INS ELISA Kits) secretion

  9. The cleaved cytosolic fragment of ICA512 enhances the transcription of secretory granule genes (including its own gene) by binding to tyrosine phosphorylated signal transducers and activators of transcription (STAT) 5 (show STAT5A ELISA Kits) and preventing its dephosphorylation.

  10. IA-2 beta (show PTPRN2 ELISA Kits) undergoes at least three distinct proteolytic cleavages.

PTPRN Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family. PTPs are known to be signaling molecules that regulate a variety of cellular processes including cell growth, differentiation, mitotic cycle, and oncogenic transformation. This PTP possesses an extracellular region, a single transmembrane region, and a single catalytic domain, and thus represents a receptor-type PTP. This PTP was found to be an autoantigen that is reactive with insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM) patient sera, and thus may be a potential target of autoimmunity in diabetes mellitus. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
