Studied the expression of TRIM27 in normal ovarian and fallopian tube epithelial cells and in ovarian serous carcinoma cells; correlated TRIM27 expression with clinical and pathological parameters.
Study found that compared to healthy individuals, Trim27 was significantly upregulated in patien (show PTPN2 Proteins)ts with Parkinson's disease
The neoplasm leading cell specific expression of integrin beta1 was posttranscriptionally regulated by the TRIM27/MRTF-B (show MKL2 Proteins) complex in response to the loss of intercellular adhesion.
Authors observed rapid, ICP0-dependent loss of TRIM27 during HSV-1 infection.
RFP (show FPR2 Proteins)-knockdown ovarian cancer cells exhibited lower carboplatin resistance than control cells. These findings suggest that RFP (show FPR2 Proteins) could be a predictive marker for chemoresistance in ovarian cancer patients.
RFP (show FPR2 Proteins)-mediated ubiquitination of PTEN modulates its effect on AKT (show AKT1 Proteins) activation.
These findings provide a cellular and molecular function for MAGE-L2 (show MAGEL2 Proteins)-TRIM27 in retrograde transport, including an unappreciated role of K63-linked ubiquitination and identification of an activating signal of the WASH regulatory complex.
Data conclude that TRIM27 negatively regulates NOD2-mediated signaling by degradation of NOD2 and suggest that TRIM27 could be a new target for therapeutic intervention in NOD2-associated diseases.
TRIM27 expression is a modifier of cancer incidence and progression and is a potential target for intervention.
These findings provide a unique mechanism for regulating class II PI3Ks, and identify TRIM27 as a previously undescribed negative regulator of CD4 (show CD4 Proteins) T cells.
our study suggests that nicotine may induce murine spermatozoal apoptosis via the TNF (show TNF Proteins) apoptotic pathway through up-regulation of deubiquitinated RIP1 (show RALBP1 Proteins) by Trim27 promoter hypomethylation.
TRIM27 inhibits VSV infection-induced type I IFN production by promoting TBK1 (show TBK1 Proteins) degradation.
Ret finger protein works as a novel E3 ligase in the Pax7 (show PAX7 Proteins)-mediated degradation of MyoD (show MYOD1 Proteins) in response to skeletal muscle atrophy.
Data showed that Trim27 deficiency decreases apoptosis and protects dopaminergic neurons in MPTP (show PTPN2 Proteins) poisoning, suggesting that Trim27 may be an effective potential target during the treatment of Parkinson's disease
The ubiquitination-deubiquitination cascade mediated by the TRIM27-USP7 (show USP7 Proteins) complex plays an important role in TNF-alpha (show TNF Proteins)-induced apoptosis.
study found that TRIM27 negatively regulates FcepsilonRI (show FCER1A Proteins) activation of KCa3.1 (show KCNN4 Proteins) and downstream signaling by ubiquitinating and inhibiting PI3KC2beta; findings identify TRIM27 as an important negative regulator of mast cells in vivo
Trim27(-/-) mice (n = 14) were resistant to chemically induced skin cancer development (eight [57.2%] of 14 mice were tumor free) compared with Trim27(+/+) wild-type littermates (n = 13) (one [7.7%] of 13 mice was tumor free).
Epc1 (show EPC1 Proteins)-induced enhancements of SRF-dependent multinucleation, transactivation of the skeletal alpha-actin (show ACTA1 Proteins) promoter, binding of SRF to the serum response element, and muscle-specific (show EIF3K Proteins) gene induction were blocked by RFP.
This gene encodes a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family. The TRIM motif includes three zinc-binding domains, a RING, a B-box type 1 and a B-box type 2, and a coiled-coil region. This protein localizes to the nuclear matrix. It interacts with the enhancer of polycomb protein and represses gene transcription. It is also thought to be involved in the differentiation of male germ cells. Fusion of the N-terminus of this protein with the truncated C-terminus of the RET gene product has been shown to result in production of the ret transforming protein.
