RNPS1 encodes a protein that is part of a post-splicing multiprotein complex involved in both mRNA nuclear export and mRNA surveillance. Additionally we are shipping RNPS1 Antibodies (14) and RNPS1 Proteins (11) and many more products for this protein.
Showing 4 out of 4 products:
ubiquitin-specific protease 4 (USP4 (show USP4 ELISA Kits)) is a binding partner of RNPS1.
SRBD1 gene polymorphism is associated with the development of HTG as well as NTG (show OPA1 ELISA Kits), including late-onset NTG (show OPA1 ELISA Kits).
The phosphorylation of RNPS1 at Ser (show SIGLEC1 ELISA Kits)-53 influences the efficiencies of both splicing and translation.
RNPS1 is able to function together with ASF/SF2 (show SRSF1 ELISA Kits) to form ribonucleoprotein (show RBP31 ELISA Kits) complexes on nascent transcripts, and thereby prevent formation of transcriptional R-loops.
This gene encodes a protein that is part of a post-splicing multiprotein complex involved in both mRNA nuclear export and mRNA surveillance. mRNA surveillance detects exported mRNAs with truncated open reading frames and initiates nonsense-mediated mRNA decay (NMD). When translation ends upstream from the last exon-exon junction, this triggers NMD to degrade mRNAs containing premature stop codons. This protein binds to the mRNA and remains bound after nuclear export, acting as a nucleocytoplasmic shuttling protein. This protein contains many serine residues. Two splice variants have been found for this gene\; both variants encode the same protein.
