RHOQ encodes a member of the Rho family of small GTPases, which cycle between inactive GDP-bound and active GTP-bound states and function as molecular switches in signal transduction cascades. Additionally we are shipping RHOQ Proteins (5) and many more products for this protein.

Exocytosis of Rab11 (show RAB11A Antibodies)- and L1-positive vesicles may play a central role in TC10-mediated neurite outgrowth
Novel tumor-associated increase of RNA editing in ras homologue family member Q (RHOQ) transcripts, is reported.
The enhancement of Cb-induced gephyrin (show GPHN Antibodies) clustering by GTP (show AK3 Antibodies)-TC10 does not depend on the guanine nucleotide exchange activity of Cb but involves an interaction that resembles reported interactions of other small GTPases with their effectors
The exocyst complex is required for targeting of Glut4 (show SLC2A4 Antibodies) to the plasma membrane by insulin (show INS Antibodies)
Overexpression of the Rho family member TC10alpha, disrupts adipocyte cortical actin structure and inhibits insulin (show INS Antibodies)-stimulated GLUT4 (show SLC2A4 Antibodies) translocation
The GTP (show AK3 Antibodies)-bound form of TC10 directs the trafficking of CFTR (show CFTR Antibodies) from the juxtanuclear region to the secretory pathway toward the plasma membrane
The crystal structure of TC10 proved that the basic region of WASp (show WASL Antibodies) and two unique glutamates in Cdc42 (show CDC42 Antibodies) generate favorable electrostatic steering forces that control the accelerated WASp (show WASL Antibodies)-Cdc42 (show CDC42 Antibodies) association reaction.
We propose that an EGF (show EGF Antibodies)-stimulated GAP accelerates GTP (show AK3 Antibodies) hydrolysis of TC10, thereby promoting vesicle fusion.
These findings reveal a novel signaling pathway in human skeletal muscle that involves obscurin (show OBSCN Antibodies) and the Rho GTPase (show RACGAP1 Antibodies) TC10 and implicate this pathway in new sarcomere formation.
activation of TC10 and remodeling of cortical actin, which could occur through the TC10 signaling, are required for osmotic shock-mediated Glut 4 (show SLC2A4 Antibodies) translocation and glucose u
structural determinants necessary for TC10 trafficking, localization, and function in adipocytes
PKCzeta (show PRKCZ Antibodies)/lambda can serve as a convergent downstream target for both the PI 3 (show PI3 Antibodies)-kinase and TC10 signaling pathways.
TC10alpha is specifically required for insulin (show INS Antibodies)-stimulated glucose uptake in adipocytes
the TC10/GAPEX-5 (show GAPVD1 Antibodies)/Rab5 (show RAB5A Antibodies) axis mediates insulin (show INS Antibodies)-stimulated production of PI(3 (show PI3 Antibodies))P, which regulates trafficking of Glut4 (show SLC2A4 Antibodies) vesicles
CDK5 (show CDK5 Antibodies)-dependent phosphorylation of the Rho family GTPase TC10(alpha) regulates insulin (show INS Antibodies)-stimulated GLUT4 (show SLC2A4 Antibodies) translocation
This gene encodes a member of the Rho family of small GTPases, which cycle between inactive GDP-bound and active GTP-bound states and function as molecular switches in signal transduction cascades. Rho proteins promote reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton and regulate cell shape, attachment, and motility. The encoded protein is an important signalling protein for sarcomere assembly and has been shown to play a significant role in the exocytosis of the solute carrier family 2, facilitated glucose transporter member 4 and other proteins, possibly acting as the signal that turns on the membrane fusion machinery. Three related pseudogene have been identified on chromosomes 2 and 14.
