RHOQ encodes a member of the Rho family of small GTPases, which cycle between inactive GDP-bound and active GTP-bound states and function as molecular switches in signal transduction cascades. Additionally we are shipping RHOQ Antibodies (35) and many more products for this protein.

Exocytosis of Rab11 (show RAB11A Proteins)- and L1-positive vesicles may play a central role in TC10-mediated neurite outgrowth
Novel tumor-associated increase of RNA editing in ras homologue family member Q (RHOQ) transcripts, is reported.
The enhancement of Cb-induced gephyrin (show GPHN Proteins) clustering by GTP (show AK3 Proteins)-TC10 does not depend on the guanine nucleotide exchange activity of Cb but involves an interaction that resembles reported interactions of other small GTPases with their effectors
The exocyst complex is required for targeting of Glut4 (show SLC2A4 Proteins) to the plasma membrane by insulin (show INS Proteins)
Overexpression of the Rho family member TC10alpha, disrupts adipocyte cortical actin structure and inhibits insulin (show INS Proteins)-stimulated GLUT4 (show SLC2A4 Proteins) translocation
The GTP (show AK3 Proteins)-bound form of TC10 directs the trafficking of CFTR (show CFTR Proteins) from the juxtanuclear region to the secretory pathway toward the plasma membrane
The crystal structure of TC10 proved that the basic region of WASp (show WASL Proteins) and two unique glutamates in Cdc42 (show CDC42 Proteins) generate favorable electrostatic steering forces that control the accelerated WASp (show WASL Proteins)-Cdc42 (show CDC42 Proteins) association reaction.
We propose that an EGF (show EGF Proteins)-stimulated GAP accelerates GTP (show AK3 Proteins) hydrolysis of TC10, thereby promoting vesicle fusion.
These findings reveal a novel signaling pathway in human skeletal muscle that involves obscurin (show OBSCN Proteins) and the Rho GTPase (show RACGAP1 Proteins) TC10 and implicate this pathway in new sarcomere formation.
activation of TC10 and remodeling of cortical actin, which could occur through the TC10 signaling, are required for osmotic shock-mediated Glut 4 (show SLC2A4 Proteins) translocation and glucose u
structural determinants necessary for TC10 trafficking, localization, and function in adipocytes
PKCzeta (show PRKCZ Proteins)/lambda can serve as a convergent downstream target for both the PI 3 (show PI3 Proteins)-kinase and TC10 signaling pathways.
TC10alpha is specifically required for insulin (show INS Proteins)-stimulated glucose uptake in adipocytes
the TC10/GAPEX-5 (show GAPVD1 Proteins)/Rab5 (show RAB5A Proteins) axis mediates insulin (show INS Proteins)-stimulated production of PI(3 (show PI3 Proteins))P, which regulates trafficking of Glut4 (show SLC2A4 Proteins) vesicles
CDK5 (show CDK5 Proteins)-dependent phosphorylation of the Rho family GTPase TC10(alpha) regulates insulin (show INS Proteins)-stimulated GLUT4 (show SLC2A4 Proteins) translocation
This gene encodes a member of the Rho family of small GTPases, which cycle between inactive GDP-bound and active GTP-bound states and function as molecular switches in signal transduction cascades. Rho proteins promote reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton and regulate cell shape, attachment, and motility. The encoded protein is an important signalling protein for sarcomere assembly and has been shown to play a significant role in the exocytosis of the solute carrier family 2, facilitated glucose transporter member 4 and other proteins, possibly acting as the signal that turns on the membrane fusion machinery. Three related pseudogene have been identified on chromosomes 2 and 14.
