Relaxins are known endocrine and autocrine/paracrine hormones, belonging to the insulin gene superfamily. Additionally we are shipping Relaxin 2 Proteins (14) and Relaxin 2 Kits (6) and many more products for this protein.
Showing 10 out of 103 products:
a novel fusion transcript comprising the RLN1 (show RLN1 Antibodies) and RLN2 (show RLN1 Antibodies) genes, was identified.
The complex binding mode of the peptide hormone H2 relaxin to its receptor RXFP1 (show RXFP1 Antibodies) has been deciphered.
Although serum relaxin level is not a causative factor for benign hypermobility syndrome, the significant increases in patients with hyperkyphosis and pes planus suggest the hypothesis that relaxin has a limited and indefinite role in patients with BJHS.
Relaxin Inhibits High Glucose-Induced Matrix Accumulation in Human Mesangial Cells by Interfering with TGFB1 (show TGFB1 Antibodies) Production and Mesangial Cells Phenotypic Transition
the correlation between RLN2 (show RLN1 Antibodies) and p-AKT (show AKT1 Antibodies) or RLN2 (show RLN1 Antibodies) and p-ERK1/2 (show MAPK1/3 Antibodies) expression was investigated.
Serum concentrations of relaxin showed a positive association to duration of gestation among women with miscarriage but no association to duration of gestation among women with spontaneous onset of labour.
Effects of RLX (show RLN1 Antibodies) on the electrical properties of cardiac stromal cell membrane correlate well with its well-known ability to suppress myofibroblast differentiation, supporting the possibility that RLX (show RLN1 Antibodies) may be used for the treatment of cardiac fibrosis.
H2 relaxin is fully active at the relaxin receptor RXFP1 (show RXFP1 Antibodies) and thus dimerization is not required for biological activity.
Synthetic covalently linked dimeric form of H2 relaxin retains native RXFP1 (show RXFP1 Antibodies) activity and has improved in vitro serum stability.
Overexpression of RLN2 (show RLN1 Antibodies) and S100A4 (show S100A4 Antibodies) might be related to the prediction of metastasis potency and poor prognosis for osteosarcoma patients.
Relaxins are known endocrine and autocrine/paracrine hormones, belonging to the insulin gene superfamily. In humans there are three non-allelic relaxin genes, RLN1, RLN2 and RLN3, where RLN1 and RLN2 share high sequence homology. The active form of the protein encoded by this gene consists of an A chain and a B chain linked by disulfide bonds. Relaxin is produced by the ovary, and targets the mammalian reproductive system to ripen the cervix, elongate the pubic symphysis and inhibit uterine contraction. It may have additional roles in enhancing sperm motility, regulating blood pressure, controlling heart rate and releasing oxytocin and vasopressin. Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants.
