  1. We show that PRP31 (show PRPF31 Antibodies), a component of U4 snRNP (show LSM2 Antibodies), is modified with K63-linked ubiquitin chains by the PRP19 (show PRPF19 Antibodies) complex and deubiquitinated by USP15 (show USP15 Antibodies) and its substrate targeting factor SART3 (show SART3 Antibodies). USP15SART3 makes a complex with USP4 (show USP4 Antibodies) and this ternary complex serves as a platform to deubiquitinate PRP31 (show PRPF31 Antibodies) and PRP3 (show CLCA4 Antibodies)

  2. The complex structure of SART3 (show SART3 Antibodies) nuclear localization signal (NLS (show ALDH1A2 Antibodies)) and importin-alpha (show KPNA4 Antibodies) reveals bipartite binding, and removal of SART3 (show SART3 Antibodies) NLS (show ALDH1A2 Antibodies) prevents the entry of USP4 (show USP4 Antibodies) (and USP15 (show USP15 Antibodies)) into the nucleus and abrogates the subsequent deubiquitinase activity of USP4 (show USP4 Antibodies).

  3. crystal structures of SART3 (show SART3 Antibodies) in the apo (show C9orf3 Antibodies)-form and in complex with the DUSP (show DUSP5 Antibodies)-UBL domain of USP15 (show USP15 Antibodies) at 2.0 and 3.0 A, respectively. Structural analysis reveals SART3 (show SART3 Antibodies) contains 12 half-a-tetratricopeptide (HAT (show MGEA5 Antibodies)) repeats, organized into two subdomains, HAT (show MGEA5 Antibodies)-N and HAT (show MGEA5 Antibodies)-C. SART3 (show SART3 Antibodies) dimerizes through the concave surface of HAT (show MGEA5 Antibodies)-C, whereas the HAT (show MGEA5 Antibodies)-C convex surface binds USP15 (show USP15 Antibodies) in a novel bipartite mode.

  4. miR (show MLXIP Antibodies)-124 regulates Tip110 expression and differentiation of human cord blood CD34 (show CD34 Antibodies)(+) cells

  5. Hypoxia led to Tip110 protein degradation through the ubiquitin-proteasome system. Under hypoxia, Tip110 stabilized p53 (show TP53 Antibodies), which in return destabilized Tip110.

  6. SART3 (show SART3 Antibodies) recruits ubH2B, which may be evicted from DNA during transcription, for deubiquitination by Usp15 (show USP15 Antibodies)

  7. YB-1 (show YBX1 Antibodies) potentiates the Tip110/Tat (show TAT Antibodies)-mediated transactivation of the HIV-1 LTR promoter.

  8. findings show C-MYC (show MYC Antibodies) upregulates transcription of TIP110 through interaction with the TIP110 E-box in the TIP110 promoter, ensuring high-level Tip110 expression in proliferating embryonic stem cells (hESCs); further show TIP110 regulates OCT4 (show POU5F1 Antibodies) alternative splicing in hESCs

  9. TIP110 is also expressed in human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) and expression was decreased with differentiation of these ESCs (show NR2E3 Antibodies).

  10. Results suggest that U4 and U6 small nuclear ribonucleoproteins (snRNPs) accumulate in Cajal bodies for the purpose of assembly into U4/U6 snRNPs by SART3/p110 (show SART3 Antibodies).

  1. Bcl2l10 (show BCL2L10 Antibodies), Tpx2 (show DAZL Antibodies), and Aurka (show AURKA Antibodies) co-localized on the meiotic spindles, and Bcl2l10 (show BCL2L10 Antibodies) was present in the same complex with Tpx2 (show DAZL Antibodies).

  2. Study demonstrates that the Golgi resident protein GM130 (show GOLGA2 Antibodies) activates the spindle assembly factor TPX2 (show DAZL Antibodies) to nucleate microtubules around the Golgi and further captures them to couple mitotic membranes to the spindle.

  3. The findings indicated that Tpx2 (show DAZL Antibodies) is essential for maintaining genomic stability through its role in spindle regulation.

  4. Tpx2 (show DAZL Antibodies) redistributes from the nucleus to the apical process, and promotes nuclear migration during G2-phase by altering microtubule organization.

TPX2 Antigen Profile

Protein Summary

The protein encoded by this gene is an RNA-binding nuclear protein that is a tumor-rejection antigen. This antigen possesses tumor epitopes capable of inducing HLA-A24-restricted and tumor-specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes in cancer patients and may be useful for specific immunotherapy. This gene product is found to be an important cellular factor for HIV-1 gene expression and viral replication. It also associates transiently with U6 and U4/U6 snRNPs during the recycling phase of the spliceosome cycle. This encoded protein is thought to be involved in the regulation of mRNA splicing.
