The protein encoded by TNS1 localizes to focal adhesions, regions of the plasma membrane where the cell attaches to the extracellular matrix. Additionally we are shipping Tensin 1 Kits (1) and and many more products for this protein.

Human Polyclonal Tensin 1 Primary Antibody for IHC, ELISA - ABIN184607
Chen, Ishii, Wong, Chen, Lo: Molecular characterization of human tensin. in The Biochemical journal 2001
Human Polyclonal Tensin 1 Primary Antibody for ICC, IF - ABIN4358501
Kim, Wen, Prowse, Hamilton: Regulation of matrix remodelling phenotype in gingival fibroblasts by substratum topography. in Journal of cellular and molecular medicine 2015
TNS1, MET, and TRKC (show NTRK3 Antibodies) tyrosine-phosphorylated proteins are upregulated during epithelial-mesenchymal transition induced with TGF-beta (show TGFB1 Antibodies), and predict the outcome in lung adenocarcinoma patients.
TNS1 polymorphism associated with COPD (show ARCN1 Antibodies) risk and lung function decline
data demonstrate that tensin1 is extensively phosphorylated on Ser (show SIGLEC1 Antibodies)/Thr (show TRH Antibodies) residues in cells and phosphorylation by p38 MAPK (show MAPK14 Antibodies) regulates the specificity of the tensin1 Src (show SRC Antibodies) homology 2 domain for binding to different proteins
The expression of tensin is increased in mesangial cells with stimulating of high concentrations of glucose.
Data show expression of TNS1, GSTCD, AGER, HTR4 and THSD4 in lung tissue and indicate potential targets for interventions to alleviate respiratory disease.
Results suggest that PP1alpha (show PPP1CA Antibodies) bound to tensin1 has effects in reducing migration and invasion that are not mediated through DLC-1 (show DYNLL1 Antibodies), and show the importance of PP1alpha (show PPP1CA Antibodies) binding to tensin1 for the regulation of cell polarization, migration, and invasion.
Tensin may play important roles in mesangial ECM (show MMRN1 Antibodies) production through an adhesion complex with integrin alpha5, FAK (show PTK2 Antibodies), and vinculin (show VCL Antibodies).
Results suggest that the protein-tyrosine phosphatase (show ACP1 Antibodies) domain of tensin exhibits isoform-specific association with PP1alpha (show PPP1CA Antibodies) in a restricted spatial region of adhesions that are formed during cell migration.
studies demonstrate that TNS1 binds to DLC1 (show DLC1 Antibodies) and fine-tunes its RhoGAP (show ARHGAP1 Antibodies) activity toward RhoA (show RHOA Antibodies) and that the TNS1-DLC1 (show DLC1 Antibodies)-RhoA (show RHOA Antibodies) signaling axis is critical in regulating cellular functions that lead to angiogenesis
The protein encoded by this gene localizes to focal adhesions, regions of the plasma membrane where the cell attaches to the extracellular matrix. This protein crosslinks actin filaments and contains a Src homology 2 (SH2) domain, which is often found in molecules involved in signal transduction. This protein is a substrate of calpain II. A second transcript from this gene has been described, but its full length nature has not been determined.
