The protein encoded by TRIM26 is a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family. Additionally we are shipping TRIM26 Antibodies (38) and TRIM26 Proteins (5) and many more products for this protein.
Autoubiquitination of TRIM26 links TBK1 (show TBK1 ELISA Kits) to NEMO (show IKBKG ELISA Kits) in RLR (show DHX58 ELISA Kits)-mediated innate antiviral immune response
Down-regulation of TRIM26 is associated with worse prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma.
In addition to confirming one of the top findings in the meta-analysis, TRIM26, RNF5 and HLA-DRB3 have been identified as potential candidate genes for schizophrenia.
The study reports no associations between polymorphisms in TRIM26 and the risk of aspirin-exacerbated respiratory disease in both logistic and regression analyses.
Higher baseline serum AFP (show AFP ELISA Kits) levels independently predicted a lower sustained viral response to antivirals among patients with chronic hepatitis C.
Our findings delineate a novel mechanism for the termination of IRF3 (show IRF3 ELISA Kits) activation in nucleus through TRIM26-mediated IRF3 (show IRF3 ELISA Kits) ubiquitination and degradation.
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family. The TRIM motif includes three zinc-binding domains, a RING, a B-box type 1 and a B-box type 2, and a coiled-coil region. The protein localizes to cytoplasmic bodies. Although the function of the protein is unknown, the RING domain suggests that the protein may have DNA-binding activity. The gene localizes to the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I region on chromosome 6. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene.
