Human Tryptase alpha/beta 1 (TPSAB1) interaction partners

  1. We found the determination of serum tryptase levels over time to be a reassuring correlate of clinical improvement in pediatric mastocytosis

  2. Elevated serum tryptase and ET-1 (show EDN1 Antibodies) may be markers of increased coronary instability; some cytokines may be related to the extension of CAD (show CAD Antibodies).

  3. these data suggest that the expression of tryptase is regulated by SCF (show KITLG Antibodies)/C-KIT (show KIT Antibodies) signaling via the ERK1/2 (show MAPK1/3 Antibodies) and p38MAPK (show MAPK14 Antibodies) pathways.

  4. Urine tryptase beta was increased in patients with chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome compared to controls.

  5. Results demonstrated serum tryptase levels in colo-rectal cancer (CRC (show CALR Antibodies)) patients before radical surgical resection.

  6. Circulating tryptase level is associated to obesity related parameters and has a close relation with various metabolic risk factors for subclinical atherosclerosis

  7. Alpha-tryptase gene variation is associated with levels of circulating IgE and lung function in asthma.

  8. The best criterion for discriminating IgE- and non IgE-mediated hypersensitivity reactions in anaesthesia was a tryptase value exceeding twice the basal one.

  9. With elevated tryptase level, a history of hornet sting-triggered anaphylaxis, and venom-specific IgE, a patient is at increased risk of severe life-threatening anaphylactic response to a future sting, as well as for having underlying clonal mastocytosis.

  10. Monitoring of serum baseline tryptase in indolent systemic mastocytosis patients is closely associated with poor prognosis disease features as well as with disease progression.

  1. Following TNFalpha (show TNF Antibodies) treatment, increased elastase and tryptase modify the balance between activation and deactivation, elevating active chemerin (show RARRES2 Antibodies) concentration in adipocyte media and subsequent CMKLR1 (show CMKLR1 Antibodies) activation.

  2. transcriptional activation of mouse mast cell Protease-7 by activin (show Actbeta Antibodies) and transforming growth factor-beta is inhibited by microphthalmia-associated transcription factor (show MITF Antibodies)

  3. Because mMCP-6 (show TPSB2 Antibodies) and mMCP-7 can compensate for each other in this mouse disease model, the elimination of both tryptases is necessary to reveal the prominent roles of these serine proteases in joint inflammation and destruction.

  4. TGF-beta stimulates mmcp-7 transcription through the Smad3-Smad4 pathway as well as c-fos induction

Tryptase alpha/beta 1 (TPSAB1) Antigen Profile

Protein Summary

Tryptases comprise a family of trypsin-like serine proteases, the peptidase family S1. Tryptases are enzymatically active only as heparin-stabilized tetramers, and they are resistant to all known endogenous proteinase inhibitors. Several tryptase genes are clustered on chromosome 16p13.3. These genes are characterized by several distinct features. They have a highly conserved 3' UTR and contain tandem repeat sequences at the 5' flank and 3' UTR which are thought to play a role in regulation of the mRNA stability. These genes have an intron immediately upstream of the initiator Met codon, which separates the site of transcription initiation from protein coding sequence. This feature is characteristic of tryptases but is unusual in other genes. The alleles of this gene exhibit an unusual amount of sequence variation, such that the alleles were once thought to represent two separate genes, alpha and beta 1. Beta tryptases appear to be the main isoenzymes expressed in mast cells\; whereas in basophils, alpha tryptases predominate. Tryptases have been implicated as mediators in the pathogenesis of asthma and other allergic and inflammatory disorders.
