More ELISA Kits for UBA5 Interaction Partners

Human Ubiquitin-Like Modifier Activating Enzyme 5 (UBA5) interaction partners

  1. The study of UBA5-R246X revealed a dramatically decreased half-life and loss of UFM1 (show UFM1 ELISA Kits) activation due to the absence of the catalytic cysteine Cys250.

  2. Uba5 residues 364-404 were demonstrated to be necessary for the transthiolation of Ufm1 (show UFM1 ELISA Kits) to Ufc1 (show UFC1 ELISA Kits), and Uba5 381-404 was identified to be the minimal region for Ufc1 (show UFC1 ELISA Kits) recognition

  3. Crystallization of Uba5 residues 57-363 was performed at 277 K using PEG (show PAEP ELISA Kits) 3350 as the precipitant, and crystals optimized by microseeding diffracted to 2.95 A resolution, with unit-cell parameters a=b=97.66, c=144.83 A, alpha=beta=90, gamma=120 degrees .

  4. binding of ATP to Uba5 approximately Ufm1 (show UFM1 ELISA Kits) thioester was required for efficient transfer of Ufm1 (show UFM1 ELISA Kits) from Uba5 to Ufc1 (show UFC1 ELISA Kits) via transthiolation.

  5. Studies reveal structural features of UBA5 that further understanding of the enzyme reaction mechanism and provide insight into the evolution of ubiquitin activation.

  6. UBE1DC1 greatly activated SUMO2 (show SUMO2 ELISA Kits) in the nucleus or transferred activated-SUMO2 (show SUMO2 ELISA Kits) to nucleus after it conjugated SUMO2 (show SUMO2 ELISA Kits) in the cytoplasm.

  1. The Ufm1-activating enzyme Uba5 is indispensable for erythroid differentiation in mice.

UBA5 Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

This gene encodes a member of the E1-like ubiquitin-activating enzyme family. This protein activates ubiquitin-fold modifier 1, a ubiquitin-like post-translational modifier protein, via the formation of a high-energy thioester bond. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been found for this gene. A pseudogene located on chromosome 1 has also been identified.
