More Proteins for serine/arginine-Rich Splicing Factor 10 (SRSF10) Interaction Partners

Human serine/arginine-Rich Splicing Factor 10 (SRSF10) interaction partners

  1. Results show that YTHDC1 (show YTHDC1 Proteins) promotes exon inclusion in targeted mRNAs through recruiting pre-mRNA splicing factor (show SNRPB Proteins) SRSF3 (show SRSF3 Proteins) while blocking SRSF10 mRNA binding.

  2. SRSF10 is a key regulator of BCLAF1 pre-mRNA splicing and the maintenance of oncogenic features in human colon cancer cells

  3. In colorectal cancer, NSSR1 was highly expressed in the nucleus of tumor cells.

  4. Splicing thermotolerance is acquired through maintenance of SRSF10 phosphorylation and that this is mediated at least in part by Hsp27 (show HSPB1 Proteins).

  5. Data show that SFRS13A expression was significantly associated with LDLR (show LDLR Proteins) splicing efficiency in vivo.

  6. found to be dephosphorylated specifically in mitotic cells; show that dephosphorylated SRp38 is required for the observed splicing repression

  7. SRp38 plays a crucial role in cell survival under stress conditions by inhibiting the splicing machinery

  8. SRp38 contains two arginine- and serine-rich domains (RS), one of which has a unique, second-step repression activity, while both function together as a splicing repression domain.

Mouse (Murine) serine/arginine-Rich Splicing Factor 10 (SRSF10) interaction partners

  1. SRSF10 represses inclusion of PGC1alpha exon 7a.

  2. The results of this study suggested for the first time that NSSR1 may provide a novel mechanism for reducing neuronal injury after ischemia, probably through regulation on alternative splicing of NCAM-L1 (show L1CAM Proteins) and CREB (show CREB1 Proteins) in astrocytes.

  3. We further show that an SRSRSK sequence in the RS3 (show EDAR Proteins) domain may play an important role in the function of NSSR1 in pre-mRNA splicing.

  4. These results identify SRSF10 as an essential regulator for adipocyte differentiation.

  5. the potential roles of NSSR1 in sperm maturation and fertilization

  6. NSSR1 mRNA was expressed in mouse cerebrum, cerebellum, heart, liver, intestine, kidney and lung tissue, but NSSR1 protein was only expressed in neural tissues.

  7. found to be dephosphorylated specifically in mitotic cells; show that dephosphorylated SRp38 is required for the observed splicing repression

  8. The NSSR1 promotes neuronal differentiation and the splicing of NCAML1 (show L1CAM Proteins) exon2 and TrkC (show NTRK3 Proteins)-K1.

  9. NSSR1 and NSSR2 function as splicing modulators via binding to pre-mRNAs.

  10. The findings for the first time provide the evidence indicating the potential importance of NSSR1 in testes development, spermatogenesis and cryptorchidism.

SRSF10 Protein Profile

Protein Summary

This gene product is a member of the serine-arginine (SR) family of proteins, which is involved in constitutive and regulated RNA splicing. Members of this family are characterized by N-terminal RNP1 and RNP2 motifs, which are required for binding to RNA, and multiple C-terminal SR/RS repeats, which are important in mediating association with other cellular proteins. This protein can influence splice site selection of adenovirus E1A pre-mRNA. It interacts with the oncoprotein TLS, and abrogates the influence of TLS on E1A pre-mRNA splicing. This gene has multiple pseudogenes. Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. In addition, transcript variants utilizing alternative polyA sites exist.
