Specificity: Rat Anti-Mouse Granulocytes (Clone RB6-8C5) recognizes Mouse Granulocytes . This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype. Antigen Distribution: The Gr-1 antigen is present at various levels correlated with granulocyte differentiation and maturation. The Gr-1 antigen is expressed on other myeloid populations, but not on lymphoid or erythroid cells.1,2

Application Details

Application Notes: IHC (Frozen), FC, IP, WB Immunohistochemistry on Frozen Sections: This antibody should give satisfactory staining results when used on frozen sections at a concentration of 1.0 g/ml. Flow Cytometry: It is recommended to use the indirect method for signal enhancement when enumerating cells expressing Granulocytes . A suggested method would be to stain cells expressing Granulocytes with Anti-Mouse Granulocytes at =1.0 g per 1.0 X 106 cells in a 100 l total staining volume, followed by Goat F(ab')2 Anti-Rat IgG, Fc (Gamma) Fragment Specific-R-phycoerythrin (Leinco Prod. No.: R485). Each Investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications.

Buffer: This purified antibody is formulated with no carrier proteins or preservatives added in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl.

Storage: This antibody is stable for at least one week when stored at 2-8°C. For long term storage, aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at 20°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
