Additional Information

Alternative name MART-1/Melan-A
Immunogen BALB/C mice were injected with recombinant MART-1 protein.
Format Supernatant
Isotype IgG1  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Clone A103
Specificity This antibody is specific to a 20 kD protein known as MART-1 (Melanoma Antigen Recognized by T cells 1) or Melan-A. This antibody does not cross react with MAGE-1 or tyrosinase protein. MART-1 is a newly identified melanocyte differentiation antigen recognized by autologous cytotoxic T lymphocytes.

Application Details

Application Notes Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:50-1:100 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Positive Control: Melanoma. Cellular localization: Cytoplasmic Other Applications: Immunoprecipitation (1:50), Western Blotting (1:50 to 1:100)
Concentration 100ug/ml approximately
Buffer This antibody is supplied as purified immunoglobulin fraction containing sodium azide as preservative.
Storage Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label.
Research Area Cancer
Restrictions For Research Use. CE-certified for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Use in the European Union
