Additional Information
| Immunogen | BALB/C mice were injected with suspension of human mesothelioma cells from patients with malignant epithelial mesothelioma. |
| Format | Ig-fraction |
| Isotype | IgM (Matching secondary antibodies) |
| Clone | HBME-1 |
| Specificity | This antibody reacts with an unknown antigen on microvilli of mesothelioma cells. It stains normal mesothelial cells as well as epithelial mesotheliomas in a thick membrane pattern due to abundant lung microvilli on the surface of these cells. |
Application Details
| Application Notes | Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:15-1:25 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 60 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the end user. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Positive Control: Mesothelioma. Cellular localization: Cell membrane |
| Concentration | 100ug/ml approximately |
| Buffer | This antibody is supplied as purified immunoglobulin fraction containing sodium azide as preservative. |
| Storage | Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label. |
| Research Area | Cancer |
| Restrictions | For Research Use. CE-certified for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Use in the European Union |
