Characteristics Myeloma fusion partners:
SP2/0
Purification Protein G purified
Background Synonyms:
acetyl Lysine antibody, Acetylated lysine antibody, Lysine antibody
Research Area Chromatin and Nuclear Signaling
Application Notes Optimal antibody dilution should be determined by titration, however as a guideline try 1:3000-1:10,000 for EIA
Comment

CBP and p300 are large nuclear proteins that bind to many sequencespecific factors involved in cell growth and/or differentiation, including cjun and the adenoviral oncoprotein E1A. The protein encoded by this gene associates with p300/CBP. It has in vitro and in vivo binding activity with CBP and p300, and competes with E1A for binding sites in p300/CBP. It has histone acetyl transferase activity with core histones and nucleosome core particles, indicating that this protein plays a direct role in transcriptional regulation

Restrictions For Research Use only
Format Liquid
Concentration 1 mg/mL
Buffer PBS, 0.1 % sodium azide
Preservative Sodium azide
Precaution of Use WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.
