Additional Information
| Alternative name | p15ink4b |
| Immunogen | BALB/C mice were immunized with purified human recombinant full length p15INK4b |
| Format | Purified |
| Isotype | IgG1 (Matching secondary antibodies) |
| Clone | 15P06 |
| Specificity | This antibody with a protein of 15 kD. p15INK4b is a specific inhibitor of cdk4/cdk6 and is periodically expressed during cell cycle. p15INK4b expression is induced approximately 30fold in human keratinocytes by treatment with TGF-beta, suggesting that p15INK4b may act as an effector of TCF-beta mediated cell cycle arrest. |
Application Details
| Application Notes | Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:25-1:50 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Positive Control: Colon carcinoma. Cellular localization: Nuclear Other Applications: Immunoprecipitation, Western blotting (1:100-500). |
| Concentration | 100ug/ml approximately |
| Buffer | This antibody is supplied as purified ascites containing sodium azide as preservative. |
| Storage | Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label. |
| Restrictions | For Research Use. CE-certified for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Use in the European Union |
