Additional Information

Immunogen BALB/C mice were injected with whole cells (Hep-2) expressing placental alkaline phosphatase.
Format Ascites (prediluted)
Isotype IgG2a kappa  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Clone 8B6
Specificity This antibody is specific to PLAP. This antibody stains germ cells and trophoblastic neoplasms, e.g. seminoma/dysgerminoma, embryonal carcinoma, yolk-sac tumor, choriocarcinoma and carcinoma in-situ of testis.

Application Details

Application Notes Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Proteolytic treatment is required prior to immunostaining of formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections. Positive Control: Placenta. Cellular localization: Cell membrane
Concentration 1 to 4 ug/ml
Buffer This antibody has been pretitered and quality controlled to work on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded as well as acetone fixed cryostat tissue sections. No further titration is required.
Storage Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label.
Research Area Enzymes
Restrictions For Research Use. CE-certified for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Use in the European Union
