Additional Information

Alternative name RPA/p34
Immunogen BALB/C mice were injected with purified human RPA protein.
Format Ig-fraction
Isotype IgG1 kappa  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Clone 9H8
Specificity This antibody reacts with a 32-34 kD protein known as Replication Protein A (RPA). RPA is involved in DNA replication, repair and recombination. Human RPA is a stable heterotrimer of 70 kD, 32-34 kD and 11-14 kD subunits (RPA70, RPA32 and RPA14 respectively). RPA is required for the SV40 large tumor antigen-catalyzed unwinding for SV40 DNA and stimulates DNA polymerase alpha and delta.

Application Details

Application Notes Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:50-1:100 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the end user. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Positive Control: Tonsil. Cellular localization: Nuclear Other Applications: Immunoprecipitation, Immunofluorescence, Western Blotting
Concentration 100ug/ml approximately
Buffer This antibody is supplied as purified immunoglobulin fraction containing sodium azide as preservative.
Storage Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label.
Research Area DNA/RNA
Restrictions For Research Use. CE-certified for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Use in the European Union
