Additional Information

Alternative name TAG-72/CA 72-4
Immunogen BALB/C mice were injected with purified TAG-72 protein.
Format Supernatant
Isotype IgG1  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Clone CC49
Specificity This antibody is specific to an oncofetal antigen of >1,000 kD known as tumor associated glycoprotein (TAG-72) or CA 72-4. This antibody has been shown to be distinct from B72.3 by reciprocal competition radio-immunoassays and it has a Ka higher than that of B72.3. TAG-72 is expressed in colon, breast, pancreatic, ovarian, lung and gastric cancer.

Application Details

Application Notes Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:50-1:100 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Positive Control: Breast carcinoma. Cellular localization: Cytoplasm, cell surface
Concentration 100ug/ml approximately
Buffer This antibody is supplied as tissue culture supernatant containing sodium azide as preservative.
Storage Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label.
