Additional Information

Immunogen BALB/C mice were injected with purified human thyroglobulin.
Format Ig-fraction
Isotype IgG1
Clone TGB04
Specificity This antibody is specific to 330 kD protein. Thyroglobulin is synthesized by the follicular epithelial cells of the thyroid. Thyroglobulin antibody has been useful in the positive identification of thyroid carcinomas of the papillary and follicular types. This antibody cross reacts with mouse, rat and dog.

Application Details

Application Notes Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:50-1:100 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Suitable for formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissues. No special pretreatment is required. Positive Control: Thyroid. Cellular localization: Cytoplasmic
Concentration 100ug/ml approximately
Purification Ig-fraction
Buffer This antibody is supplied as purified immunoglobulin containing sodium azide as preservative.
Storage Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label.
