Additional Information

Alternative name Thyroid and Lung Epithelial Marker (TF-1)
Immunogen BALB/C mice were injected with a recombinant rat protein.
Format Supernatant (prediluted)
Isotype IgG1  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Clone 8G7G3-1
Specificity This antibody is specific to a 40 kD protein, which is identified as Thyroid transcription factor (TTF-1). TTF-1 is expressed in epithelial cells of the thyroid gland and lung. TTF- 1 stain primary lung adenocarcinoma and small cell carcinoma but does not stain colon and breast carcinoma.

Application Details

Application Notes Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Positive Control: Lung, thyroid. Cellular localization: Nuclear
Concentration 1 to 4 ug/ml
Buffer This antibody has been pretitered and quality controlled to work on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded as well as acetone fixed cryostat tissue sections. No further titration is required.
Storage Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label.
Research Area Cell/Tissue Markers
Restrictions For Research Use. CE-certified for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Use in the European Union
