Immunogen: A synthetic peptide derived from the C-terminus region of the human TIMP-4.

Specificity: This antibody reacts with a 23kD protein, known as TIMP-4. TIMPs form tight inhibitory complexes with MMPs, which are involved, in matrix degradation and in tumor invasiveness and metastasis. TIMPs inhibit the proteolytic invasiveness of tumor cells and normal placental trophoblast cells.

Application Details

Application Notes: Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:25-1:50 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Positive Control: Breast carcinoma. Cellular localization: Cytoplasmic Other Applications: immunoprecipitation, and Western blottin (!:100-500).
