Additional Information » anti-Transglutaminase II antibody
| Antigen | Transglutaminase II |
| Immunogen | BALB/C mice were injected with purified guinea pig liver TGase II. |
| Reactivity | Human, Dog (Canine), Rabbit, Guinea Pig |
| Clonality | Monoclonal |
| Format | Ig-fraction |
| Isotype | IgG1 »Matching secondary antibodies |
| Clone | CUB 7402 |
| Host | Mouse |
| Specificity | This antibody reacts with a 77-85 kD protein known as Transglutaminase II (TGase II). TGase II catalyzes calcium-dependent post-translational modification of proteins by formation of an isopeptide bond within or between polypeptide chains. Different tissue and cell types express varying amounts of tissue Transglutaminase. This antibody cross-reacts with dog, rabbit and Guinea pig. |

| Application Notes | Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:50-1:75 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the end user. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Positive Control: Breast carcinoma. Cellular localization: Cytoplasmic, cell membrane, extracellular matrix |
| Concentration | 100ug/ml approximately |
| Buffer | This antibody is supplied as purified immunoglobulin fraction containing sodium azide as preservative. |
| Storage | Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label. |
| Research Area | Enzymes, Extracellular Matrix |
| Restrictions | For Research Use. CE-certified for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Use in the European Union |
