Additional Information

Alternative name Tyrosinase
Immunogen BALB/C mice were injected with a recombinant tyrosinase protein.
Format Supernatant
Isotype IgG2a  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Clone T311
Specificity This antibody is specific to a cluster of proteins between 70-80 kD known as tyrosinase. This antibody does not show any cross-reaction with MAGE-1 and tyrosinase-related protein-1, TRP-1/gp75. Staining of melanomas with this antibody showed tyrosinase in melanotic as well as amelanotic variants.

Application Details

Application Notes Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:50-1:100 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. High temperature treatment of formalin-fixed tissue sections using 1mM EDTA, pH 8.0 must be performed prior to the immunostaining. Positive Control: Melanoma. Cellular localization: Cytoplasmic Other Applications: Western Blotting (1:50 to 1:100)
Concentration 100ug/ml approximately
Buffer This antibody is supplied as purified immunoglobulin fraction containing sodium azide as preservative.
Storage Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label.
Restrictions For Research Use. CE-certified for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Use in the European Union
