Description
|
Chickens were immunized with highly purified human kappa chains from normal IgG. Following immunization in Freund's adjuvant the goats were bled, serum collected and the antiserum absorbed with a lambda containing immunoabsorbant. The anti kappa was isolated from an IgG kappa affinity column.

Specificity
|
The affinity purified anti kappa reacts with both bound and free kappa chains. It does not react with bound or free lambda chains by IEP and double diffusion analysis.
