Immunogen Peptide at C-terminus of human Caspase-10
Isotype IgG
Specificity This antibody recognises the 59 kDa apoptosis associated protein designated Caspase-10beta. The antibody only recognises the FLICE 2 form of Caspase-10.
Purification Purified
Alternative Name Caspase-10
Background Caspase-10 is a novel ICE/CED-3 protease, and cleaves and activates Caspase -3, -4, -6, -7, -8 and -9 leading to the cleavage of many key proteins such as PARP. Caspase-10 exists in two forms that differ in sequence at the C-terminus. Caspase-10 is also known as Mch4, whilst Caspase-10beta is also known as FLICE2.Synonyms: Apoptotic protease Mch-4, CASP-10, CASP10, FAS-associated death domain protein interleukin-1B-converting enzyme 2, FLICE2, ICE-like apoptotic protease 4, MCH4
Gene ID 843
NCBI Accession NP_001193453
UniProt Q92851
Research Area Apoptosis/Necrosis
Application Notes Optimal working dilution should be determined by the investigator.
